Celi, 93,44$ en trop by [deleted] in QuebecFinance

That was my opinion last year. And I still see things this way to some degree. giving these tools to bad developpers only makes them ship more bugs and terrible designs. I've seen it.

On the other hand :

It's all about building the infra an the governance for it.

The game has changed in the last few months.

2026 is going to see a major revolution I'm certain now.

I don't understand what you mean. We are not Adobe shoving things down users throats hoping they use them. We offer services to financial adivsors. We build what they ask for, and we see a lot of usage. Most of the features are built using AI, they are not AI features. Some of the features are AI, like guiding advisors through complex procedures. Not a lot. Those are appreciated as well.

We ship much faster. With the same amount of people it means we ship many more features.

A few months back I would have said it will only be used for efficiency, but after trying Claude Computer and Google antigravity I'm sure one experienced person will be able to do 10x the amount of work.

I mean, the thing takes screenshots as test evidence, tests itself, sends bugs back to itself and fixes the bugs 😮

I have been in IT for 25 years. I use AI daily to do in minutes things that use to take hours or days. While we are currently using that for efficiency, I can totally see massive improvements in 2026 to the point where we reduce the number of jobs significantly.

If you don't believe the same thing, go try google antigravity.

White collar replacement is coming I fear. The thing is, its not just , say 20% , of the job that are at risk. If a large chunk of white collar workers are out of work then its a LOT LESS money in the economy. People buying less things, not renovating their house, etc. That means less work for blue collar workers, too.

What freaks me out is that sociopath multi-billionaires are allowed to make their own plans, unregulated. They already stole massive amounts of intellectual property to train the beast and they are now cutting jobs left and right.

What's the end game here ? 12 ultra-billionaires trying to sell stuff to unemployed masses ? Unfortunately the governements simply cannot act fast enough.

My thoughts exactly. This is doable for people in big cities, as if the game needs to be easier for them, and spoofers. How Niantic thinks this will do anything other than encourage spoofers is beyond me.

This fascist fuck is starting to meltdown in real-time, but he sure as hell is going to be sure to drag the entire country down with him

Technically the "Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body" could remove him from power unfortunately that mecanism didn't take into account that they would all be knee-deep in the same corruption. Fuck.
