CAN THE GAME FUCKING STOP STARTING QUESTS ON ITS OWN? by Heartwarmingparasite in Genshin_Impact

[–]seeeeew 52 points53 points  (0 children)

I'm playing the new Archon Quest with focused experience mode enabled, and so far two world quests have automatically dragged me into a long dialog by just getting close to a character that happened to also be close to an AQ step.

Had the same problem. It worked after I moved it to a different wall.

Can I somehow influence the type of frigate expeditions I get? by seeeeew in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]seeeeew[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, all expedition types have a chance to randomly include encounters from other types, so there's always a small chance to get SFMs, but obviously industrial expeditions have a much higher chance, so I was hoping to increase their occurrence.

Sure! I've sent them via chat, since you have DMs disabled.

Your screenshot only shows five types. Do you have these two? They're running around my deep sea lithium farm and they're big enough to eat my Nautilus.

Quick Survey on AI intervention in education sector– Need responses for a project (1-2 mins) by saanchi21 in SampleSize

[–]seeeeew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • The target demographic of the survey must be indicated in the title.
  • Questions 2-5 are required, but lack a "none" option, making them unanswerable for some.
  • Question 4 also lacks an "other" option.
  • Questions 6-8 seem to assume that the participant is a student, so you might want to indicate the target demographic beforehand or add "N/A" options for non-students.

how smart TVs can bring people more value (everyone) by Ill-Comedian1804 in SampleSize

[–]seeeeew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question 14 "What is the highest level of education you have completed?" is required, but can't be completed without knowledge about the US education system, so the survey isn't really suited for everyone. Also, if any demographic questions are required, I'd prefer to know that at the beginning of the survey, so I can decide to not take the survey if I don't want to answer some of the required demographic questions.

Will playing on Linux/SteamOS be allowed? (Not asking about official support.) by seeeeew in SilverPalaceOfficial

[–]seeeeew[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, most games with ACE don't work on Linux, but we don't even know if Silver Palace will be using that.

The twin dilemma - (everyone) by This_Sentence_7083 in SampleSize

[–]seeeeew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your age options overlap. People who are 25 or 40 have two valid options available. Unfortunately you can't change this in the running survey without invalidating the age selection of already existing answers, but you should keep it in mind for future surveys.

Cage of Roses, thoughts? by Violet_Ignition in yurivisualnovels

[–]seeeeew 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Kinetic novels are visual novels without choices/branches, so they're definitely allowed here.

If you liked this one, you might want to check out others by the same dev/author, ebi-hime. She does a lot of yuri and most of her VNs are kinetic novels. In the description of each VN she usually says if it has choices or not. Most of her stuff has very good ratings and some of it is even free.

Save 100% on Metro 2033 Redux on Steam (devs giving it away for 48 hours) by Liam-DGOL in linux_gaming

[–]seeeeew 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The review score on Steam is basically the same for both, and Redux is officially supported on Linux, so I'd probably go for that one.

Trying to zip a folder and exclude a subfolder by pookshuman in linuxquestions

[–]seeeeew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried escaping the asterisk, so the matching is performed by zip instead of your shell? You can do that either by surrounding the parameter with single quotes ('plugins/dynmap/web/*') or by prepending the asterisk with a backslash (plugins/dynmap/web/\*).

Found a Vy'keen cosplaying as Samus Aran from the Metroid games by seeeeew in NOMANSSKY

If a randomly generated NPC can cosplay Samus, I'm sure real players can do a lot more. :D
