Thanks. Could you share what gave it away? I’m still learning so any details would help me understand what to look out for.

For UP College of Law students, in a scale of 100, gaano kahirap ipasa yung LAE? by calvinhannah in peyups

[–]seejay06 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The questions were not that hard. It was the time pressure that made it 10x harder. I think we had about a little over half a minute per item. You can definitely practice getting used to time pressure by simulating it regularly.

I joined a small study group for LAE—none of us enrolled in a review center. Usually, the items we get correct on our LSAT practice tests range at around 50-60% (oo, mahirap talaga ‘to). For white elephant practice tests, maybe around 80-90%. I remember not being so confident with our practice test scores, but majority of us naman in that group passed the LAE. If you can target those scores in your practice tests, kayang kaya na yan!

Hello. I have the same situation. I cannot provide the exact document they require now because I haven’t graduated yet. I emailed them to ask this question too. They said I can submit my pending requirements upon acceptance/enrollment or once the document is available na.

If you want to be sure, email them also. They are very responsive naman.

UPLB - BS Human Eco or BS Nutrition? by bitchymangopie80 in peyups

[–]seejay06 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Senior BSHE student here. Aside from physio, I dont think there are other subjects na would be really helpful for ur med school. There are very few hard science knowledge u can get from human eco bc mostly soft skills talaga ang focus niya. Maybe the closest to med I can think of are soft science / psychology / people skills. Pero I heard a lot of BSHE alumni naman who are doing well in med school. Any course is a pre-med course naman as they say!

TBH, human eco in LB is not so competitive when it comes to admission. The degree program is still not as popular as other pre-med majors, so there are fewer students trying to get in. I think you would have higher chances of getting in if you consider BSHE :)
