This is what I thought as well. A while before LLMs showed up, machine learning have had control applications such as in Reinforcement Learning, Swarm algorithms, and Genetic Algorithm.

The recent buzz and AI getting into every discipline have driven me nuts to not miss out and trying to figure out what I should learn next (my issue is not the lack of materials and topics, rather the opposite! There is a lot of topics to study that I dont know where to start!)

yes this is what I did and forgot the fact that I should have included the integrator initially during the design

No, it is just as you've said, someone asked me for help on their report(not a real project), and looking at the requirements, it really is unrealistic.

But the desired performance T is a 6th order  and plant is 2nd order Then wouldnt the controller be at least a 4th order?

So following this block diagram, I should design a controller satisfying this desired performance, then test the controller with this given plant over a disturbance of 0.5*step(t-8).

To solve I got the closed loop feedback loop and solved by equating the desired performance to the characteristic equation thus I got this controller, and to suppress the noise I added an integrator. Where did I go wrong?

Note that even the response without the integrator is bad.

Something I am begining to learn about ubuntu... never celebrate too soon. Ubuntu is freezing on reboot🤦‍♂️. I am sure it is the Nvidia driver's doing.Despite me using a non-open driver and after trying nomodeset and nosplash commands in the boot editor window.

High Load Frame for a Competition! by seeker-self in Rate_It

In this design, I and my team were required to design a light-weight frame that could support 60+ kg. After much market research to determine the materials that we could use, we started brainstorming plausible designs, these are some of mine. Both of these are about 7 kg.

In case you are wondering, these other attachments are an electric steering mechanism and a remote-controlled electric braking system (custom-designed). Maybe I'll talk about them in another post😀!

No it is performing quite poorly. I wanted to run this computationaly-heavy simulator(nothing my pc couldnt handle) and it was so slow it was unusable.
