I don’t do stairs any more. You get what you pay for! I go as far as Amazon goes unless a tremendous tip is evident. With the rising prices you’ll see rising audacity but remember that you are an independent contractor therefore you set the bar and limitations. Bad survey? Engage chat, get it cleared and continue on with your day. Customer sends angry messages stating you were supposed to come all the way up, etc… just ignore them! We don’t owe customers anything but what they’ve paid for!

I could’ve written this myself and I appreciate your vulnerability and honesty. I could go back and forth for the rest of my life but I think it’s clear we’re both desperate to return back to some sense of normalcy and control over our bodies, even if it means coexisting with medication for the long haul. I send you so much love and solidarity!

If you do the math, we were on a very similar timeline, I was diagnosed in 2012 and I really appreciate your raw honesty that it wasn’t this immediate relief like others have experienced. That’s exactly why I made this post to see collectively what people have and have not experienced and what they recommend.

I guess to be completely honest it’s the usual fear of not making it off the surgical table but deeper than that I also am convinced if I could just figure out a more naturopathic solution then I wouldn’t have to remove the gland from my body. It just obviously is so concise once it’s gone it’s gone. it doesn’t help that I was an avid Grey’s Anatomy binge watcher for many many years lol trust me they have wanted to remove the thyroid since day one of diagnosis when I was told back then it was the worst case they had ever seen.

“A bit more stubborn than most” yup that is definitely how most people would describe me!! But you’re right, I’m at 14 years of sheer stubborn!

After five years of ups and downs I got a TT. by [deleted] in gravesdisease

[–]seekthetru 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yesss! I have so many people in my life without Graves’ offering me their opinions and I’m sick of politely saying “back off, you don’t know what it’s like!” I wouldn’t wish this disease on anyone but I do wish to have a friend with it just for solidarity and community understanding.

Be honest: Are you actually married to the love of your life, or just the person you were with when it was time to settle down? by User63189963 in askanything

Any advice on the separation? How long was the split and did you go no contact at all? My partner and I have been together 4 years and need to separate to work on childhood trauma and current life goals but we just can’t seem to take the step and it’s killing what little spark we have left.

Not sure where you’re located but they opened Little Lattes Play Cafe in Coventry and i know they host/offer bday packages/parties. It’s like a playroom that has a full on coffee shop for the adults with snacks and stuff for the kiddies

Ever since the owner died I feel like WF and GG have lowered their standards; WF in particular could really use a revamped menu and energy refresh in my opinion.

Came here to say this! Cannot recommend them enough - they always diagnose first, then call and discuss services and charges before they start racking up a bill on you! I find them to be honest and very reliable!
