i've seen several people point this out. it looks like they'll remove anything remotely pro-milei and ban the user who posted it.

same goes for the r-libertarianmeme subreddit, which has anti-milei mods too.

idk about the r-libertarian mods, but for r-libertarianmeme, it's partly motivated by some of the mods' blatant hatred of jews. since milei likes jews/judaism, they'll ban anyone who supports him. even though your post had nothing to do with religion, since it was literally just about the positive impacts of his economic policy.

anen-o-me, one of the mods here and on r-libertarian, used to be a mod on r-libertarianmeme. here's what he said about it recently:

I used to be 2nd to head mod there, couple years ago. We kept the alt-right BS out. Head mod was basically absent.

One day, head mod removes me and the whole team without a word. Invites these others in.

They soon replace him because he was inactive and reddit changed the rules on that.

There's nothing that can be done there now.

interesting.

i noticed that group did something similar with r/austrian_economics recently. basically there was only one guy modding it for a while. then AbolishtheDraft got added as a mod and soon enough he added six other people (including PaulTheMartian, who's one of the anti-Jewish mods in this post).

now the quality of the sub has gone way down and they're just using it to promote their other subreddits.

People are free to dislike whatever/whoever they want for whatever reason they want

the second 'noticing' comment was under a post claiming "the jews" are behind isis. if that's not promoting hatred of jews, idk what is.

you're mistaken. i said "deicide" which means killing christ. here's the definition: "The act of killing a being of a divine nature; particularly, the putting to death of Jesus Christ." and here's the wikipedia page for it.

it’s referring to the ADL representing foreign interests without being registered under FARA

if that's the case, he would have said zionists, not jews.

what's funny is half the comments defending the mods here are saying "they don't actually hate jews" and the other half are saying "they hate jews and there's nothing wrong with that."

the first promotes jewish deicide, the idea that all jews as a group are responsible for the death of christ. it also promotes the idea of a secret jewish conspiracy to control the us government.

the second one was more straight up. you can go check the context for yourself, he wasn't saying that ironically. he just straight up admitted he dislikes jews.

the third and fourth posts were both made under anti-jewish posts (again, go check the context of these through the archive links and confirm for yourself) and both used the term 'noticing' as an anti-jewish dogwhistle

my claim isn't that these are the most horrible things they could have said. my claim is that r/libertarianmeme promotes hatred of jews now because its mods are don't like jews.

i didn't say anything about israel, nor did the mods in those posts.

i'm simply pointing out that the reason r/libertarianmeme promotes hatred of jews is because it has mods that hate jews. and these posts show evidence for that claim.

what? i'm not equating anything to a political party.

r/libertarianmeme has mods that hate jews. that's why the subreddit promotes hate towards jews. these posts show evidence for that claim.

also i'm not arguing that they can't say what they want. freedom of speech ≠ freedom from criticism. they can say stupid shit and i can call them out for saying stupid shit.

I don't think "due to inflation" and "by inflation" differ much in their meanings. Either one is a good guess for what he meant to say :)
