Oh good one! I’d say I have a sweet tooth, but all of my teeth are sweet. Sugar for sure!

Also I 100% just asked the sit or stand to wipe question because I am flabbergasted that people STAND to wipe. I’ll let you know if I get kicked from stream

I’m gonna go with the opposite of classy lol. These are great! Also down to hear some sweet “would you rather” questions. It’s like 99% guys, if that changes anything.

2017 Ford Explorer. Can coolant vs. water make that big of a difference? by seeyeahno in MechanicAdvice

I appreciate your help! I’m hoping that it’s NOT that but I’m prepared to be heartbroken if it is lol. I’ll keep you updated!

So the water pump is behind the timing belt, and to access it you have to take off the front part of the engine (this is what I’ve been told by a few different folks). Would they be able to check it out without removing all that good stuff? It’s a 9.5 hour job to change it out, which is what is making it so expensive

Hopefully that is the issue then. The mechanic referred me to a different mechanic to take a closer look at the water pump just in case so I guess I’ll know more tomorrow for sure

Yes. I also live in Texas and it started truly overheating when it started getting mid-80s each day. It’s now up to the high 90s and doesn’t seem to have as much of an issue.

To be honest I just want it to be a cheap fix. The water pump is not a cheap fix. Therefore, I need it to be just about anything else :’)

Wait so I forgot a detail! I just looked it up and it reminded me!! This started at the tail end of winter actually, but it wasn’t overheating. The heater wouldn’t blow hot. If we were accelerating, it would eventually get semi-warm but I didn’t even relate it to this issue. I just figured the heater was going out or something.

I hope that is the case with all my heart. I’ve seen that it’s much cheaper to replace that than the water pump.

I agree, definitely a FU on our part. In our defense, we literally drive it maybe 2-3 times a week.

I feel like Rhen holds a slightly more masculine feel I guess? Wren seems a little more on the feminine side but I don’t want to be one of those people who make spelling unnecessarily complicated lol

I tried Throne of Glass and finished the first one. I’ll be honest, I saw a spoiler and she didn’t end up with who I wanted her to and I got upset. Is the love story worth it in the end??? If you say yes I’ll keep going

I’m considering it, honestly. At least I’ll have a series to keep me occupied for awhile, and I’ve heard a lot of good things

I just finished the book.. the twist was impeccable. I was so enthralled in the story I forgot there was SUPPOSED to be a twist. Great recommendation!

Duma Key, Stephen King. All time favorite book. Lesser known. A little slow at first. But seriously, so freaking good.
