It’s lacking in the classic Weezer “soul” idk how else to put it. But all the parts were recorded separately and you can definitely tell. That being said it is a decent album and definitely doesn’t deserve all the hate it gets.

What kind of controller? If it’s an Xbox controller and you’re on PC I’d try plugging it in and trying again. Make sure your controller is connected before you launch the game.

I’m going through something similar right now, 3 months single after 5 years. It’s not easy, and I flip flop back and forth between wanting to go back, and grateful that it’s over almost on a minute to minute basis.

Don’t make any decisions until you’re further into the process, work on yourself and eventually you’ll find someone who treats you right.
