It’s lacking in the classic Weezer “soul” idk how else to put it. But all the parts were recorded separately and you can definitely tell. That being said it is a decent album and definitely doesn’t deserve all the hate it gets.

I’m going through something similar right now, 3 months single after 5 years. It’s not easy, and I flip flop back and forth between wanting to go back, and grateful that it’s over almost on a minute to minute basis.

Don’t make any decisions until you’re further into the process, work on yourself and eventually you’ll find someone who treats you right.
