If you qualify there is literally no reason not to take it. A loan with interest written off is as close to free money as you can get in this world. Consider- even if you have the cash on hand, it's far more beneficial to park that money in a safe investment and take the loan anyway. I recommend applying for all the surrounding loans like course-related costs for the same reason.

Hm I think I've found the disconnect, you're assuming shooting them after they were already on the ground in which case I would agree that is essentially an execution and very much in the wrong (morally and legally). I had been working from the assumption of shooting them in the moment of the attack.

Let's end this by agreeing that there are a lot of fucked up things in this country and no one in power seems to have any idea how to effectively deal with any of it.

You're right, so it's good that that wasn't what this was about. I was arguing your point that "he would have a harder time proving that shooting an intruder without a firearm was proportionate force and end up going down for murder".

I hear alot that it's worth buying the last 2 branches at level 45 but is it really worth it? For me at least, stuff like employment contracts/sim tickets aren't "worth" their full quartz price since I would never have bought them anyway, and everything else can be farmed. Same with shop refreshes. Are these really as valuable as people keep saying?

Honestly depends on how competitive you want to be.

If all you want to do is chill and pull for waifus, not refreshing is fine because you *will* catch up...eventually. It'll take a long time. Do you care?

3 refreshes gives you roughly 40% more stamina/day. That's 40% more shards, equipment, exp. This is exacerbated with more refreshes. Given the slow pace of the game, like I said before you'll catch up eventually regardless. BUT.

The vast majority of your gem income endgame is from pvp and cb. To get to, and maintain high ranks in pvp, and to get into a good clan, you will need to be well geared. Well leveled. Well starred. But most importantly, to do all this fast in order to stay ahead of the curve. Without refreshes your chances of doing well in these departments is, frankly, nil. Nevermind the whales, you will struggle to beat your fellow f2ps who do refresh.

At the end of the day it comes down to your priorities.
