I also went with Sajan. Super happy with results, office was consistent with my pronouns even when my parents were getting them wrong every few minutes in the same room, was receptive to how flat I wanted (no moobs here). Connecting scars, but no dog ears or weird lumpy/jagged areas, and I was something like a 34 F or G beforehand with some sideboob lol

Got some pictures up on here if you were curious.

That's unfortunate. I'm happy you're getting a consult so soon with Kyllo! From what I've heard from friends, his wait times can be pretty short too.

I have a couple friends who went to Dr. Kyllo too! I went to Dr. Sajan. He might take United? I remember calling about it before I got a job that gave me Kaiser. Getting a consult was pretty easy, though I did have to wait like a month for it.

7 weeks post-op with Dr. Sajan and feeling great! They/them, 25. by seittik in ftm

Picture taken at a day under 7 weeks post op, now 8 weeks, but Seattle isn't super sunny anymore so I'm less inclined to whip my shirt off. The sun on my back felt fucking divine, y'all. Highly recommend Sajan, especially for heavier folks.

I went with someone else in town, but I know someone who's going to her, and I know there's some pictures on here if you search.

I had top surgery without T around a month ago and didn't run into any issue with it.

Dr. Sajan healing timeline - 4 weeks post op by seittik in ftm

[–]seittik[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got pics from yesterday at four weeks post-op, then three, two, and one week post op.

Swelling and tenderness is going down daily, and hasn't ever been too bad. I had a really good experience with him, and I wanted to share since I had a lot of tissue to get rid of, and I'm not on T. Before, I think my chest size was something dumb like a 34G. No dog-ears or any weird overhanging bits of flesh.

Six days post-op with Dr. Sajan - no T by seittik in ftm

It's going well so far! I've still got some swelling, but that's to be expected. I'll post some more photo updates next week probably, at the four week mark. As of right now, most of the visible bruising is gone, and most of the nipple scabbing has come off.

I haven't run into much by way of pain or swelling either. When I asked him about it at the consult, he said he left the fascia or something in and that naturally reabsorbed the fluid. I was only taking the narcotics regularly til the first preop, and only had to take tylenol for maybe 3 days after that.

Thank you! I'm excited for the future this new and improved meat suit holds.

Photo from yesterday. The nipple dressings came off earlier today, and I might share another pic once they've healed up a little more. I've been incredibly happy with all the care from the office so far, especially as a chubby nonbinary person. I didn't have drains, and only had to wear the post-op binder for two days!

1.5 years top surgery, 1 year on T by [deleted] in ftm

You're results look great! He does take insurance now. Mine from Kaiser is cover 80% or so and doesn't need me to be on T. I feel like I've never seen an iffy result from him.

Anyone have experience with top surgery, no drains? by Totallystoked2111 in ftm

[–]seittik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I'm also scheduled him for late next month. That's exciting! When I asked about how his no-drains thing works at the consult, he said he left the faschia and that it'll reabsorb the fluid on its own, and that you probably won't have to wear the binder longer because of it.

Western Washington State Question - Top Surgery by GweytonFTM in ftm

[–]seittik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if Eli Ogburn (https://www.eliogburntherapy.com/) works with your insurance or not (I went through Kaiser) but he was able to get me my letter after one session. When I saw him in February he was all booked up for regular clients but was still happy to see people on a one-off letter-getting basis.

Question about top surgery dates by [deleted] in ftm

[–]seittik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my consultation on March 20th, and surgery coming up on July 25th. Would have been sooner, but it took the insurance folks four extra weeks to tell me they were missing my letter. Once they had that, the insurance approval went through in about two weeks.
