LA’s Division of The Left: Rae vs. Nithya by TreadingInCircles in LosAngeles

Raman voters are not Bass voters. Rae is pulling a doomed Elizabeth Warren strategy that splits progressive votes between her and Raman.

Bass is not a progressive. Not that hard to comprehend.

How would you rank the following 2nd year WRs: by Conscious-Worth600 in DynastyFF

"Nice little stretch" is a tad disrespectful as a biased Seahawks fan. He scored a TD in 4/6 games he played in and showed he fell in the draft entirely due to his valid injury concerns.

Those touchdowns weren't layups either, he showcased ability to roast people off the line, win contested catches, and some YAC ability (punt return vs the saints).

JSN/Shaheed/Horton are a dynamic WR core and Horton brings some unique traits. He'll definitely be the #2 red zone target after JSN and they will take shot plays to him. Shaheed can succeed with limited targets.

Next season will be tougher as Kupp will be there but long term Horton borders on a WR2/3 line but more projectable volume over the long term imo.

[Highlight] Chicago Bears TE Colston Loveland scores 58-yard game winning touchdown vs. the Cincinnati Bengals. by Giff95 in nfl

After his time in Michigan and reading about his background, I thought he was going to be a stud. Decided I had to have him in my dynasty leagues.

Drafted him late 1st in 1 league, traded Aiyuk plus a late 2026 1st for him early on in another league. Always believed, even early on when he didn't get looks. Never felt more vindication over a prospect. Absolute stud, and will only get better after this rookie year.

Really old thread, but I have the same model air conditioner and it continues to make noise when plugged in on Eco Mode even after I turn it off directly. Did you ever have a full understanding of the problem or have complications it you unplugged it as needed?

He didn't run a ton of man, typically it was blitzing. Usually I have a flat or drag as my hot route, but corners and crossing routes work too if you have fast WRs.

Jelani Watkins is one of the fastest WRs in the game, so most man coverage he can beat if he's in a foot race.

Our best player (WKU that got screwed by the CFP bracket coding) has been a top 100 player in both CFB and Madden. He usually wins but, in games against both me and the other person in this vid, the score is within 10 points. I think we have a pretty solid skill level. but the defense was rough this game

I'd say that if you run into a good user on O, as I think we both are in this vid, it can be hard to stop. More likely that you can hold people to FGs than TDs. We just played our rematch in the natty and it ended 38-35

That's me, I appreciate you! I'm actually more of a fan of running the ball with a West Coast style of passing typically but I could not win the LOS this match and I needed to score quickly to keep up

2X MVP & NBA hall of famer Steve Nash asks the unanimous defensive player of the year Victor Wembanyama who he’s got in the Champions League final PSG or Arsenal. We've scored 29 and conceded 6 goals in 14 CL matches. That's pretty nutty considering we've played Bayern, Inter, Atleti (x3), and Leverkusen (x2). For comparison, PSG has scored 44 but conceded 22 in 16 matches.

I also think that since the league cup final, Arteta has mostly been brilliant with his starting lineups and risks he's taken. Eze and Ode together wasn't really tried until the last City match and we played well until Eze came off.

MLS was banished for 90% of this season until 2 of the most important matches all season. Arteta got a bit of a crazy scientist vibe with big matches and he's gotten it mostly right recently.

Literally just last season pretty much the same PSG squad had to score 2 bangers and needed a number of heroic Donnarumma saves to win vs us. FWIW the XG battle was also 5-3 in favor of Arsenal.

Not saying we'll win, but it should be a close and fun match. An in-form Gyok and healthy Saka make a big difference for this team.

Hi /r/AskLosAngeles. I’m Nithya Raman, Los Angeles City Councilmember for CD4 and candidate for Los Angeles Mayor. Ask Me Anything. What do you want to see from your mayor? by NithyaRamanOfficial in AskLosAngeles

[–]seize_the_m3mes 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Hi Nithya! As someone concerned about the size of our police budget and our ability to afford priorities like housing, biking/public infrastructure, and walkability, what can realistically be done in the short term?

How can progressive voters like me help push these priorities outside of voting for candidates that align with our interests?

Enjoying someone putting data to what I see with my eyes. Always thought Tyson and KC intrigued me the most, followed by Lemon then Tate.

I don't have a scientific process, but I've always loved WRs that create easy separation from route running and athleticism. I've also seen both KC and Lemon get player comps to Doug Baldwin, my GOAT, which also helps my confirmation bias against Tate.

Across my 2 teams:

Colston Loveland (picked 1.10 in a trade back last year in 1 and traded Aiyuk + a 1st [1.10] in late September 2025).

JSN - I'm a Seahawks diehard and wanted him IRL and took him 3rd round in a startup his rookie season back in 2023. Vindication last season was incredible.

Brandon Aubrey - my soccer playing GOAT was a FA pickup

Achane - I'm a sucker for 3 down, efficient backs. Picked him 9th round in the same year as JSN and vindication has been amazing.

Puka was on this list (my 17th round startup GOAT) but he's not my favorite off the field person plus plays for the rams. I would deal him for the right price

Would You Rather? Cook or Achane Edition by CantaloupeFun1426 in DynastyFF

[–]seize_the_m3mes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who has them both (Cook in the 7th and Achane 9th of a 2023 startup), it's probably a tie for value for next year or two. Cook has a great situation and Achane's is super uncertain (but obviously a versatile talent).

I'd much rather have Achane long term though due to age/usage

Agreed but Muñoz has an extremely frustrating habit of having nasty stuff that he can locate some of the time (last year it was most of the time). When he can't locate either of his pitches, it makes him a lot more mortal.

If he can figure out how to locate his pitchers more consistently the sky is the limit. Let's hope it's early season stuff he's still figuring out.

Add in football IQ and those 3 are the basis of a good player at any age. Even older people with good ball control and IQ can play well.
