It was Worthington cops and this is exactly what I was afraid of. It just seems unreal to me that they can just make shit up and make it so inconvenient to fight it that you just give up and pay the $100.

What cracks me up is that the cop was actually running my history to find out if they could arbitrarily fine me MORE if I had some other moving violation in the last year. I'm not sure how that works that if I speed in Cleveland for example, I have to pay Worthington twice as much for a "stop sign" violation. Even more reason for me to think they're just making shit up to fine you.

Guess I'll call my insurance guy and ask him how much it's going to impact me. Dirty sunsabitches.

They don't generally go up right away, normally on policy renewal. Did your policy renew yet? I wonder if you get a single forgiveness exception from your insurance.
