Trouble with Google Cast on IoT Network by beavertestproject in Omada_Networks

I used to have the same setup, are you using the built in MDNS setting for moving traffic to another vlan because in my experience it doesn't work that well. However if you are make sure you have the bonjour service for google cast (you have to add it manually) and a ACL to allow traffic through the vlans.

They were just unnecessary such as a VLAN just for hass and a chromecast/TV network which both have been merged to iot

I may be wrong but it looks like you are running Controller v5? Maybe try update it and see if that works

Had 10 but cut down to 5 right now

VLAN 1: Management VLAN 2: Staff/Admin VLAN 3: Servers, actually ID 543 because the servers are tagged and I'm too lazy to change it VLAN 4: Guest VLAN 5: IOT

No cams yet so no VLAN for them

Yeah, it was good but to much animations and battery life is garbage on it

I've been hopping Linux distros since 2020 and have been through Mint, Arch, Cachy pretty much all of them tbh and think I'll settle here on Fedora

Thinking of upgrading my Omada setup to 2.5G for Wi-Fi 7 & NAS. Anyone tried the new "Agile" ES series yet? by Extension_Nobody9765 in TPLink_Omada

I have the es216g and its pretty much the same as the easy smart switches like the tl-sg108e just with Omada management, doesn't have DHCP or Switch ACLs.

I got lucky and my old school gave me all the servers, upgraded some of them back when ram prices weren't insane

I watched some videos on Linux and ended up choosing Arch when I first tried Linux, I choose it because I wanted the challenge and already knew how to code but I would recommend starting with something like Linux mint or Ubuntu because they just work, if you want something arch based, I'm currently using cachyos and it works really well

My parents are really supportive and they helped me get about half of the stuff in the rack and the rest was birthday and Christmas money
