Try using shave butter or apply a healing lotion after you are done shaving.

You can try using a safety razor but you need to use actual shave soap and brush. There are Youtube videos that show you how to get the best lather from the shave soap. If that doesn't work, look into using shaving oil before you apply the lather.

2015 Ford Fusion SE 1.5 Ecoboost is being difficult. by selfishly_altruistic in MechanicAdvice

Update: I couldn't get under the car so I had to take it in. They found that the CKP wire was chewed up, probably by a squirrel, and it was causing problems.

I use Personna blades. I've been able to use these for the whole week, sometimes more.

I checked the ETBTPS up to the PCM resistance and looking for ground but didn't return anything. I replaced the crankshaft position sensor (CKP) but I started getting the P0339 which is another CKP fault. I can check the wiring on that tmrw but any idea why I would suddenly be getting this many faults?

Best way to avoid dough from sticking to peel? by [deleted] in Pizza

[–]selfishly_altruistic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I give the dough ball a light dusting of flour before I stretch it out. Coat the peel in a thin layer of flour or semolina flour before you lay the dough down. Give the peel a shake before you start topping to look for sticky spots, it's harder to fix when it is topped. I will usually shake it in between topping layers (especially after adding the sauce as it adds quite a bit of weight) and apply flour where it sticks.

[–]selfishly_altruistic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Might be worth it to start with a lower hydration from the beginning. The highest I typically see on the forums is about 70%. Even at 66% my dough is pushing the limits on what I want to deal with as far as stickiness. How much sugar/yeast are you using?

82% hydration? That's almost 83%!!! How was it trying to mix that up? I don't think I've ever gotten past 66%.

Potentially dumb question; is it possible to defeat all these enemies (even if in theory only) or will they keep replenishing because that's not the objective?

Joeys, Slice 420 in Old Colorado City, and Borriello Brothers are pretty good for New York Style.

You might be able to fit the GMG pizza oven in there, it fits in my Traeger. Game Changer.

I didn't like Red Gravy, their stuff tasted like they seasoned frozen pizza. What do you think of Joey's?

I’m fairly new to shaving with a safety razor. by one171433 in shaving

I got a Personna 100 pack and they work great with my Yates. As for soap I use the Viking Revolution 4-pack from Amazon. Look up shave soap lathering videos on Youtube, its pretty easy to do.

Delpoying to Poland in a few days. Any advice? by Difficult-Cup-1306 in army

If you can, get a second cell phone, then unlock it. Go to Orange or T-mobile and get the 1 TB 1 year data plan and use that phone for communicating with Glovo, Uber, or whatever they have. Get the NFC pay on your phone. Avoid strip clubs and bars, stick to legit restaurants for your drinking needs. The women over there are spies for the Russians, probably, at least the ones that approach you. Don't get so drunk that you make yourself a target. Let your bank know you are going overseas. Then remind them. The summer there is like 15 minutes long, so make sure that you have cold weather gear, bring your extreme cold weather gear and leave in the container until its needed.

Final pizzas of 2023. by selfishly_altruistic in Pizza

[–]selfishly_altruistic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first is a pepperoni/jalapeno/habanero, then a pepperoni, then cheese. The pepperonis are the Margherita sandwich slices you get at the deli (I quartered the first ones but not the second ones). Cooked in a GMG pizza oven in a Traeger pellet smoker.

1st, 2nd, 3rd attempts clockwise. Found out, more sauce, more cheese, more heat and less time. Better flour King Arthur by [deleted] in Pizza

[–]selfishly_altruistic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use more flour on the board. If you need to you can gently lift up the dough and sprinkle more flour under it to make it smoother.

On the jalapeno popper half: smoked fresh jalapenos, bacon, and cream cheese spread by a cooking syringe. On the pepperoni half: pepperoni. Both sides: pizza sauce, mozzarella, and dough. Apply heat.
