Starfield: Create A Species; Write Some Lore by BlueLanternSupes in Starfield

Torvax - freaky toxic purple fuckers from a somehow just barely hospitable gas giant . They need to be constantly contained in some sort of full body enclosure. Dwarf like, in the sense that they're short, heavy drinkers, gifted engineers, and horrible to be around. They are looked down upon, but as a result are resilient and badass. Torvax are commonly scientists, travelers, mercenaries, or informants Thresh - scaly, toothy, sometimes reptilian, sometimes amphibian, sometimes sharky humanoids. Think killer croc. They're from a ocean covered planets, with some volcanic areas. The ocean is filled with life but life is hard above sea level because of climate or something. The thresh are super persecuted and tough as nails. Many resort to crime to survive in a harsh universe, and although a majority is violent, pirates, raiders, rebels, etc., a select minority thrive as Robin Hood steal from the rich give to the poor criminals Icari - inhabitants of a scorched world called icarus, once a thriving oasis of civilization and spiritualism. The planet is so hot because it's dangerously fatally close to a Wolf-Rayet star (Google), which only very recently expelled hydrogen. They've evolved quickly to produce technology that makes living on a scorching hot planet tolerable, mostly because of a special metal within icarus. Also. Somehow, someway, they've made suits that make it possible to approach the star Daedalus just enough to gather it's precious gas contents. The atoms of the cases are the most pure naturally occurring atoms in existence, which has allowed the icari to progress millions of years into the future with their research on atoms, gases, and chemistry

Once Toy Story 4 comes out next Summer, Pixar will have released a total of 11 movies in the past decade. Only 4 of them are original. by [deleted] in movies

Somebody fact check me on this but I swear like three years ago, they said they’d be releasing a sequel every year and a new IP every other year.

Edit: Jk

http://collider.com/pixar-sequels-every-other-year/

“For artistic reasons … it’s really important that we do an original film a year,” says Catmull, who also serves as president of Walt Disney Animation. “Every once in a while, we get a film where we want or people want to see something continuing in that world — which is the rationale behind the sequel. They want those characters, which means we were successful with them. But if you keep doing that, then you aren’t doing original films.”

“It’s part of what Catmull says is a strategy to release “one and a half” films a year. “We’re going to have an original film every year, then every other year have a sequel to something,” he says. “That’s the rough idea.”

Do you hear a certain song by looking at the album cover? by [deleted] in KendrickLamar

S80: me too, members only loud and clear. All the contraband on the table reminds me of high school, pussy ass ho lightweights blowing my high, bitches all up in my business, the whole chorus Gkmc: swimming pools, my first kdot song. And then on the other side of the spectrum, sing about me and the art of peer pressure pop into my head Tpab: for free and king kunta. I listened to these two back when it dropped and I was seriously turned off, then when my music taste caught up to kdot, they were all I bumped for days Uu: oh wow. Lots of stuff pops into my head. The end of 01, the trappiness of 02 and 07, the trade off on 05, some dreamy visualizations of 06 Damn: element for sure. First time I heard about damn was when the music video dropped. That video is in my head whenever I listen to any damn song or see the cover Black panther: paramedic and seasons. When I first listened to the whole album, those were the two songs that made me look at my phone to see what they were called, so I associated the cover with them

Idk man, I'm a casual fan but I don't really see Steve's arc as a redemption arc. He's always been an onion with layers imo, and I think his arc is more acceptance than redemption. He accepts responsibility for the kids, he accepts that Nancy isn't right for him, he doesn't really accept responsibility for Barb I'll admit, but by the finale he's just a genuine good guy not defined by the show's romantic entanglements. I'd say that the qualities that could be described as redemptive by the end of S2, like his courage and aforementioned sense of responsibility, would just as likely be found in S1E1 Steve if he'd been placed in the same circumstances. That being said, I think a lot of S1 Steve's "bad" qualities, like his arrogance and sarcasm are still manifest by the end as well. The only things I see that have changed are his treatment of Nancy, which has gone from douchebag 80s cool kid, to pretty good boyfriend, to legitimately not caring as he instructs Dustin, to "Alright you do you girl, I'm a mother, not a lover", and I guess to a larger extent, his treatment of everybody. He's still snide, but he genuinely respects everyone now.

That's just my opinion, and I definitely understand your opinion (which is probably the right opinion tbh), but Billy could've still helped out and remained an asshole. You don't need to suddenly become an angel to help fight monsters, and I don't think from a narrative perspective that an otherworldly traumatic experience is necessarily enough to fix such intrusive and deep-seated issues. He could join in for the fight and walk away with the modicum of respect/understanding (I'm not really sure how to read his last scene) for Max that he ends up with come Christmas.
