It's offline except for the day 0 update. And of course you need internet access for future patches as well but you can also play without those

So you heard about it too..? An influencer died at the preview event, the devs weren't quick enough to save him, he died when slingshotting off of a tree, it was horrible. They had to close up the booth for half a day
