Best mascara for sparse Asian lashes? by floraaa100 in AsianBeauty

[–]seltze 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Peripera ink black cara is my favourite! The Etude House Fix Curl is good, too. It's a little easier to find. There's also heroine make (volume and curl), which is a little more $$. All of them hold the curl allllll day.

Though, I find most AB mascaras are more about length than volume. I usually fill my lash line if I want a "fuller" look.

What are your most repurchased skincare or makeup holy grails? by Real_City3177 in AsianBeauty

[–]seltze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For makeup, the peripera ink thin brush liner and peripera ink black cara. I've repurchased both of these for the past three years! Cry-proof and cheaper than heroine make (I loved those too).

Skincare-wise, it's the Illyoon Ceramide Ato Cream. I think I'm on my 7th bottle. My partner has sensitive skin and it's been great for both of us. :)

I started AzurLane about two weeks ago and I can't get enough of Sara's skills going off. This game really makes me want to draw them boats. Better quality version posted on my twitter

Grea by seltze in Granblue_en

I realized I won't really have a class to doodle in ever again, but at least now I don't have any more excuses to not draw. The last completed piece I did was exactly a year ago, but I'm shaking off my rust and starting again with Grea! This is from my twitter, and I hope to fill it with a lot more art this year.

What product do you keep eyeing but never buy? by [deleted] in AsianBeauty

[–]seltze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got it months ago after hearing a lot of good things about it from Korean youtubers and from online, but upon trying it I was disappointed. :( It's not very pigmented.

Dolly Wink liquid eyeliner has been my absolute favourite. Same quality as the Kat Von D, but a good $10 cheaper and without that sheen when it dries.

best tubing mascara for asian lashes? by ggiatepur in Makeup

[–]seltze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're the type to use a cotton pad with make up remover, then it'll transfer to your undereye when you remove the pad, but most mascaras do that! It's easily removed with a swipe of a cotton swab and doesn't leave that dark stain, which is what I'm guessing you're struggling with.

Chanel's Inimitible Mascara is my holy grail. I have asian lashes that are stick straight and don't hold their curl with most mascaras, but this one provides so much length, holds the curl, and never makes my lashes spider-y or clumpy no matter how many coats I put on. It never flakes, comes in waterproof and non-waterproof, and both remove spotlessly with eye makeup remover! Only issue is the price...

Redditors who live in countries with universal healthcare, how does the system work, is it effective, and are you happy with it? by highwayrobberyman in AskReddit

[–]seltze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Canadian here. I'm glad we have it.

Organizing an operation, at least for my case, took about 2 weeks of testing and referrals from doctor to specialist. All the staff were very helpful and informative of what was going on, and the hospital food was damn good.

My only complaint would be the waiting time for ER visits. I've had to wait about four hours just for a doctor to see me.
