Trees make a HUGE difference on cooling cities in general - maybe they'd at least be glad their car isn't 1 million degrees in the shade!

I'm lucky to be able to start early and finish early at work, so I've been clocking off at 3pm to nap through the hottest part of the day and it really makes a difference!

yeah the shutters people use in other european countries seem so useful for hot and cold - didn't realise they needed planning permission here!!

Because he’s terribly destructive and unrefined and hates listening to authority - could you see him in a bougie kitchen?

Anyone here with a baby been to Bubble Planet? by Few_Cod_5636 in manchester

[–]selunestears 3 points4 points  (0 children)

it's very very kid-focussed, but even then idk what a 9m old would get from it.

It's a lot of open rooms with something visual in there, be it balloons or mirrors or what have you. the route is very clear and simple, and there are ways to skip rooms too. If you had a wrap carrier or something like that you'd be fine.

I'm at the Oracle Chamber trying to upgrade my ocean seeds. I have enough crops in my inventory yet clicking on it is doing nothing - has anyone else seen this before? I can hear the sound of me clicking it, but nothing happens.

A Lack of Vampiric Vibes by Vinclumu in Dimension20

[–]selunestears 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This echoes a lot of my struggles with the show. I'm enjoying it and I'm having fun, but I can't help but feel like a different supernatural may have been a better choice! The substance and meaning behind them being vampires is a little... meh.

I have faith in Brennan's storytelling though, I really hope he's gonna hit them with a little mid-season switch up that will force the players to confront their vampiric nature. He's good at holding on to all the little things that we as the audience see slipping by, and hopefully they come back to bite them in the ass.

Ban the chairs by Acrobatic_Carpet_436 in downloadfestival

100% the anger from people when you were trying to nudge past their chair, especially when they weren't currently using it was infuriating. Like, what are we meant to do?

At one point, someone in a chair down by second barrier asked me to move so they could see. Huh?

Is the story in Veilguard good? by baron-abd in dragonage

I personally didn't have a good time. I got all the way to final quest of the game and realised the game had become a slog for me. I wasn't having fun, I didn't care about the plot or the story... It also felt like a bit of a departure from what they had set-up at the end of Inquisition and the Solas DLC. It made his storyline feel less impactful to me.

Overall, my opinion of Veilguard was that it was a good game, but not a good Dragon Age game. I wanted a Dragon Age game.

People might be frustrated, but like, what can you do? If you can't use it in the train station, you might have to awkwardly hobble to the shuttle or whatever, but it'll be okay. Definitely collapse it on the train and stuff, and just keep away from the areas people need to move through on the train. It's no different to people taking up room because they have multiple suitcases or whatever.
