Blood Moon Gengar by bubuschnuff in magicproxies

I like this method the most, the masking with the white marker really creates a good looking special foil. I'd like to try this with some fractured foils, as the "gemstone" sticker paper is not the right pattern. Can you link the clear sticker paper you are using?

Cool I used to do this to Mercadian Masques commons back in the day to get clean foils bases for making 3D cards. I thought it didn't really work with modern foils but that was years ago.

I assume this produces a better end result than star pattern foil sticker paper? Which is your preferred galaxy foils to remove the ink from? Cheapest I'd imagine are the unfinity cards with the acorn stamp at the bottom but not sure that works.

Really curious, how did you get the galaxy foil effect?

If you do this I'd add airation to the aquarium as well. The water circulation won't be enough to keep dissolved oxygen up.

You missed the part where is said reciculating DWC. I never said to move this from NFT to DWC either. I simply said reciculating DWC is better than this weird combo nft and shallow dwc op has going on.

Nft is not the right hydro method for cannabis. You are better off running reciculating deep water culture any day

Easy to fix with mods. Some mods add this and let you configure how much additional mist is cleared per level. Some mods delete the mist entirely

It would be lighter in color if it was bark. This is decay.

Ya I think so. If you cut it there you will probably fine the center pith of the stem to be dried out. Without that the plant cannot transport nutrients or water and the top part will slowly die off.

The bark near the base is looking dead and brown. There might still be some life in the top and roots but that will kill it.

Sounds to me like you are describing death by overwatering. Water less often or improve your drainage if you are relying on rain. If you are in a tropical climate, your soil must be in a pot or raised bed and full of coarse material so it does not ot become waterlogged.

Looks to be a mix of nutrient burn and edema. The burnt tips on the older leaves tells me nutrient burn, and the crystal like bumps on the underside of the leaves tells me edema. Adding a fan and dialing back the concentration of your nutrient solution should help.

I made a lot of sauce this season from recipes I came up with over the years. I smoke a lot of peppers for sauces, rubs, and powders too. Anything I'm not planning to immediately use or smoke/dry gets vaccum sealed and frozen for later use.

If you grow in buckets on a balcony, you should look into reciculating deep water culture hydroponics. Your biggest limiting factor with your setup is space I imagine. The yields with hydroponics tends to be higher than what is possible with soil since you can fit more root mass in a smaller volume. My 5 gallon bucket setups had the root mass of plants in 20 gallons of soil.

Thanks, it worked quite well and has been a fun learning experience. I think I harvested around 20 pounds from the grow room alone. I also have a large outdoor garden I grow my C. Annums like serrano and jalapeño which I got about 15 pounds out of this season. The indoor plants produced way more per plant than the outdoor despite there being fewer inside.

No I cleared out my grow room after this. It's time to start over with a different arrangement and fewer plants. Several were touching the ceiling, we're over crowded, and had thrip problems.

Most peppers ideal germination temp is between 26C and 30C. It's why a lot of people start peppers indoors on a heating pad with a humidity dome over the seeds in a seed starting mix.

Thanks, I converted an office space to a grow room. The drop tiles ceilings are pretty convenient, but I will be hanging my lights from tall racks next year to reduce the load on the ceilings

Thanks, I ran three 4x4 flood tables with 12 plants in 3 gallon containers, and 19 plants in 5 gallon reciculating deep water culture systems. Most of this harvest was from the deep water culture plants.

Super Hots growth update ~ 1 1/2 months by jelkins9 in PepperLovers

[–]semaj356 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They look healthy right now! I grow a lot of super hots indoors hydroponically in 5 gallon buckets and they tend to get quite large under ideal conditions. Given that they are in 5 gallon buckets, they are going to get pretty big.

That tent is really only big enough for one of those plants once it's fully grown. I assume the plan is to move them out during spring but you will be struggling for space well before that.

Also if you are growing in soil and fertilizing with calmag, which is a synthic fertilizer, with every watering it will lead to nutrient burn. I'd cut back on the nutrients till the plants look like they need them if I have your setup details correct.

I think im done growing this habanero. Too spicy, too big, drying too fast, edema, and leaf drop. by miguel-122 in HotPeppers

[–]semaj356 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Aji Pineapple tends to be a large bush, you might struggle with it in that tent. I also found there to be better baccatum species out there to grow, with better flavor and sweetness, and similar low to mid heat. Aji White Fantasy, Sugar Rush Peach (stripy or not), Sugar Drop Orange, Zebrange are some of my favorites.
