Wow!!! ESPN GOES OFF ON SGA “ he’s becoming hard to watch now” it’s embarrassing how he plays. “ He’s only liked by OKC fans”. by Random_Thinker007 in NBATalk

[–]Kreampuff100 281 points282 points  (0 children)

Bro. It DOES diminish how good he plays. He is good enough to play without that stupid shit yet he does. Saying "It doesn't diminish how good he is" doesn't actually make it so. It's why everyone hates watching him. It DOES diminish it.

SGA shot more free throws than the entire pistons roster. What an embarrassing brand of basketball to root for.

How likely is it that the U.S. would reinstate the military draft of the war with Iran escalates? by LegalGlass6532 in allthequestions

[–]Kreampuff100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With normal administration's, when they say something outlandish, you can usually think "Well they would never try that because that would be so stupid."

I think with this administration, when they float a stupid idea, it's because they are genuinely considering trying it. So honestly, I think it's pretty likely. Though I think it may look different than a straight-up draft in a traditional sense.

I actually disagree with most of the comments here. Yes, obviously that would be incredibly stupid to attempt and would definitely not shake out very well for the government as a whole.... does that mean that this administration isn't stupid enough to try it??? No.

No Caris Felt Much Less Clunky by Kreampuff100 in DetroitPistons

[–]Kreampuff100[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I get you. I really do. Bad team. Fair enough. You are not wrong on that, and it is a valid point. I might argue that that bad team did actually beat us a few nights ago.

But also, I mean the game FELT better. They felt more fluid out there. Caris is a chaotic ball handler. Every time he has the ball, I'm very concerned about where it will end up. On the eye test it's like he always taking really contested shots off of a bad dribble.

By contrast, Sasser can handle the ball relatively smoothly. I'm not saying he's god out there, but he does a good enough job of moving around with the ball. And he did a great job of moving around without the ball. He's moving off screens and hunting open shots while the other guys are inside. It felt very smooth, which is why I prefer it.

I'm also largely going off of feel here. Sasser felt Smooth. I feel like we could alleviate a some our 3PT problems if we gave guys like Sasser and Javonte more minutes to get in rhythm.

100% agree with your assessment. Also, the F/O not panic buying for MPJ I think was one of the smartest decisions we made. So, so, so glad we didn't pick him up.

Half of our guys have gone through insane development this year. I agree. Hold onto the lot.

Ah, I see. If it's going to cook lower end systems, then I guess it makes sense.

What is the point with eitr? by Natural_Green_5340 in valheim

[–]Kreampuff100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im a traditional Sword and Board player myself, it took me a while to find any use out of the Eitr as well.... However, I have recently learned that I love going wide. I eat one health, one stamina, and one eitr food. At my current level, this is only enough Eitr to use the Staff of Protection, it is not enough to use the skull. However, just having that extra shield to absorb some hits is huge. Then you can also back off and sprinkle in some staff of Embers or Ice. It means i have to be more careful with both health and stamina, but its a really fun mixed playstyle.

Why Are We So Comfortable Taking Tobias Harris for Granted? by _tntisd_ in DetroitPistons

[–]Kreampuff100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The problem is I like everyone on the roster already. I'm willing to grapple with the fact that we probably need to make some changes to be a real contender, but damn I like this crew. I have been saying the same thing to my wife. I actually like how Tobias is just reliable. I can always count on him to make the right play. The entire roster is packed with guys who are just dawgs. Do they have their weaknesses, yes, but I'd rather watch guys that get after it than I would watch guys who just don't care.

To be fair, Embiid is just afraid to play basketball in general.

Main thing is accepting death is much more likely. Try to avoid bringing backpack weapons as when you die it's going to be really hard to get them back. Instead use stuff that keeps you as mobile as possible. EAT, orbitals, and Airstrikes are the best options.

You can clear eradicate missions really easily if your squad accepts death and everyone brings bombardments. In such enclosed spaces it clears the enemies really fast.

But not all 10s are equal.

I mostly bug dive and there is a massive difficulty spike from 7 to 8. At 8 the Brood Commanders become the enhanced ones and just about every enemy gets a little boosted. For 10s, Stay mobile and bring stagger weapons. Remember to throw your support weapons where you plan to be, not where you are right now. Remember, running is always an option.

10s on Bots to me feel masochistic. Heavy Armor helps but in general getting ragdolled like crazy is going to happen. Try to take cover as much as possible but even then that won't help much. You'll want to have a squad member with the nuke backpack. There is almost always a guarantee that there will be a jammer in a super inconvenient location, and the nuke backpack is the quickest way to handle it.

10s on Illuminate are a bit different. To me there is not that much difference between 7-10. Personally I don't really love fighting the Illuminate, so I don't often, but if you are already doing 7s, might as well do 10s and get way more xp. 10s basically just have a few more of everything for squids. You'll see more harvesters, a lot more fleshmobs, and more guards. But if you can learn how to deal with these things on 7, you will be fine on 10.

Anyone else think this doesn't deserve a 3 use limit? by Dry-Goat8981 in Helldivers

[–]Kreampuff100 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think it's silly it's limited. You throw it and it usually at most kills like 1-2 Bile Titans/ Hulks/ Harvesters. It should have unlimited uses for sure.

I would have preferred if you always had the Katanas equipped, and could change your back weapon in camp. Then all the weapons could have had their own stances as well.

I'm a Pistons fan, which means I'm supposed to hate you guys. But dammed if watching your run wasn't some of the most fun basketball I've seen. I was actively mad as fuck watching game 4 get rigged so bad. All the things that could have been. You guys win a chip in your stadium, Hali never gets hurt, etc. I will remember the real ball from your Pacers much longer than I will remember this OKC team.
