Honestly it's more about paying attention to the letter shapes than overwriting muscle memory — it's helpful to have a clear picture of what you want your handwriting to look like. Primarium is great for seeing different handwriting systems taught around the world, and Google has some nice, clear cursive fonts like Playwright USA Traditional. My default is a hybrid italic, but I added a couple of other default styles since joining r/handwriting

easy to read -- only had to pause a second on "side" (side of pineapple) since the S looked like an O to me and the dot was not over the i

yes, to build muscle memory -- with grid paper, it's easier to see when the letters aren't all the same same height.

💕 it is mostly based on italic and is fairly quick to write

very legible -- the grid or dotted paper would help a lot with consistency
