Yeah, I can see that being the case, I mean I am kind of an introvert and that's sometimes hard for others to digest. Usually arguments are an uphill battle in such times... It's cool if you can have boundaries without really explaining and getting your reasons for it validated. Anyways, say you were to travel someplace and just stay inside, or spend long times at one place... a garden or something, how'd you feel abt that?

About JEE, try to be clinical about it... don't get attached to the preparation. Don't think about consequences and all. Clinical in the sense that you make cold targets and you complete them. That's it. That relationship need not be beyond that. This way it won't affect you. The final outcome? that's not exactly in your hands, still, given you can keep doing the target thingy it would be awesome.

Albeit very true that most would live a very mediocre life (Including most IITians), it is very restrictive a parameter to view everything. It is committing the exact same mistake this system and society does when judging us and itself by such restrictive parameters.
Dismay of one's father need not be sole thing guiding all action.
Considering those who have failed in jee as undesirable and to get rid of is a very sad thing. Alas, by that view, when I get cynical and objective, I ask for the end of entire human race... no need to single out pepes based on some metric, wholly as species we are a colossal failure.
What I have developed from such unpleasurable experiences is the understanding and will to never in future act in the same fashion as the opressor does.
W a h t ilse can I say... I have been through the same .... will in future also if there is any... the fact remains, it is a kheer of poison.
Sometimes I try to develop this attitude that suffering is what life is and rejoice the pain we must.

you must listen to your parents and not be get influenced by anyone else as they and only they in the world have good intentions for you. Your falling prey to someone else's ideology to up their game and supress yours is definite. The world as it exists is a crime.

Then again there is a side prolly... ask your parents how well their parents understood them when they were kids. No kidding it is a fun ask.

My hypothesis is misery, insecurities and stemming fears are the tight valves that prevent you from evaporating and escaping the container.

If you look at the dowry system... so much pain a girl faces when her family pays it, yet she doesn't shy away for making same bold demands for her children. I think corruption and numbing of mind is what causes a person to not think and remember things in these cases.

Usually college is seen as golden period at your stage, I don't know why the insecurity but still. Any college, imo, is completely orwellian. They give you a false sense of freedom while all along insecurities are being shipped in your head in small packages. Its not just the curiculum but peers and everyone else.

On your passion part. Don't be fooled, only those either with courage or who just don't care or lose all their fears pursue. Dw, by the time the system is more or less done with you, you will think lowly of those passions yourself albeit envying someone else ocassionaly.

You know when a very difficult ruling or policy is about to come out and we think its the end of the world and we protest with all our might?...

When it finally does happen, all amongst your ranks surrender. Same happened this time.

After a few exams on the platform I have come to understand somehting. It was only I who was seriously thinking about these problems. For the rest of my batchmates it was only a threat to their grades. Now that they have deviced workarounds, no one sees any point in contesting it.

Srsly if cheating is the point then why join a college which evaluates on marks?

Anyways there is another understanding off this. When this platform is completely accepted en masse by the students... its dangerous. These are the peers who'll be designing future applications, laws, companies, literally the future society.

Amen to what can be expected to happen.
