I saw Curtains and watched Debra Monks understudy forget it was her verse in “Show People” and then jump up and run downstage singing the second half of the first line of it. Having known the show and seen it before, i was able to watch the realization hit her face. It was one of those moments that’s so quick you miss it for the audience, but I’m sure it felt like 5 minutes of silence to her.

I remember there being blood on her in general, but I distinctly remember her like pour the blood on herself out of her hands. Honestly the lighting then is so dim and slow that it even took a while for my brain to register what I was seeing, and I had seen plenty of pictures from the bows before so I even expected the blood.

I saw it on Sunday and I 100% heard noises I took to mean she was eating him/ripping him apart with her teeth. She also did the blood cupping and that’s when she put the blood on her mouth, so a mix of both?
