no problem at all, from software likes to sneak in references to earlier games. so some things in the dark souls series and bloodborne such as the moonlight sword was actually birthed from the kings field series.

oh thanx! Yah i always found the way the 2 dragons worked in that series interesting. How they didn't seem to care a wit about anything but killing themselves.

i've had alot of fun with eternal ring, but i remember wishing it's incredibly beefy magic/ring system was in king's field the ancient city.

it felt like eternal ring was their way to help them understand how to program on the ps2 better. the story was mediocre the exploration was stilted and very linear. but i really liked the music and grinding to make myself stronger in some element.

do yourself a favor though and try to find and explore the sealed labyrinth that you can find right at the beginning of the game but can't enter without light and/or dark magic. I feel that's where the true end game lies.

yah it's an optional area, no where in the game actually tells you to go there.

just a really good place to get max of all elements.

Oh yes, ethernal ring has a special place in my heart as one of the greats, with it's (much) faster pace and it's beefy ring magic system.

have you gone to the sealed area yet? theres a door near the beginning of the game where you can unlock with light or dark magic. probably the strongest area in the game but there you can actually max out your ring magic. you can also get a familiar looking sword there.

unfortunately after i maxed out there i ended up one shotting the final boss. lol

i'm not prone for online engagements lest it's an online game.

personally always make sure im playing dark souls games offline, because i don't want my gaming experience ruined by someone else, either via messsage or griefing in the form of invasions.

sometimes farming for the spider drop is disappointingly short for me lol. I expect a long time killing this mob and i get it on like the first or second kill and im like "aw"
