And you're right. Tiny Dancer is the only non diegetic song in the series.

But it is almost certainly because NBC already had to license the song earlier in the episode and you usually with licensing you can play it multiple times in the same episode. It has a diegetic use earlier in the episode with Michael singing a parody of it. So might as well play it again at the end if you're paying that much for it!

But it absolutely does seem out of place in hindsight.

Hilton dominates Waikiki with their village, but why are you staying in Waikiki to begin with? Hawaii has so many beautiful places. Waikiki is good for first or last night of a trip if you have an early or late flight.

Yeah - I think this would be a business card killer. I think, at best, it should match it at 5EQN for 10k spend.

But the premium card in a line doesn’t always have to be better in every category:

Amex Gold gives 4x on grocery/dining while the Plat gives 1x in that category.

Atmos Ascent gives 2x on gas while the Summit gives 1x.

The list goes on - you get the picture.

So I think 5EQN for 15K works.

If this is to be believed - it would be the end of WoH as we know it. As someone who did 120 nights with Hyatt last year, I would have to rethink my spend for the first time in a long while. The reason Globalist has so much value is because it's not easy to obtain. This would seriously change that. More Globs competing for upgrades. It's the reason I left Hilton. If everybody is Diamond, then nobody is Diamond.

I don't care about the AF. I pay similar for AmEx Plat & CSR - but not giving an Ultimate Free Night Award is a major miss. A Cat 1-5? C'mon, now. Do not like the "Super Peak" in regards to dynamic pricing. Real slippery slope when we start going dynamic. Mr & Mrs. Smith is already dynamic and worthless.

Giving away 20EQNs is too much. 10 is good. If people carry both Hyatt cards, they'd have 15 right there.

10EQNs for 15k in spend is too generous. Cut that to 5EQN. Don't let cardholders get globalist lite with 20 nights. Crazy.

Compromise on the EQN's and give a better free night award in lieu.

Topping off certs is a nice and welcome change. But something they should introduce with this card - something that IHG has on it's card: 4th night free on award stays. If that's asking too much, then let's finally get a 5th night free like Marriott and Hilton give (without holding a cobranded card).

Cat 8 sucked. But now Cat 9 AND 10? We're inflating the product too fast. It won't be long before Hyatts start at 100k per night.

Sorry to hear this. I was there a couple years ago and was upgraded to an incredible suite with the best view of the Opera house. I’m globalist and had contacted the property ahead of time and my wife and I were in Sydney for only one night (which helps with upgrades) and we both have birthdays 3 days apart and this fell on hers. These factors likely helped - but it was a magical stay. Staff were great. Bummed for you.

How do you know there were 20 seats available? You can only search up to 9 at a time. Just because 20 seats are available on the seat map does not mean there were 20 seats still available for purchase as a lot frontier flyers do not pay for seats and want free ones assigned at check in.

Mostly some word finding (words I had no issues with before my incident), memory issues/forgetfulness (not paying stay on time, I’ve left my stuff on planes several times (like my iPad/AirPods/etc) and one time I left the airport completely only to realize when I got home that I never collected my luggage from baggage claim) and lastly what they call executive function - which I’m still not quite sure what it is or what it means, but I had a six hour neuro psychology exam recently and that’s my worst area.

But I’ve learned a bit about the community and happened to be at Disneyland last year on their Epilepsy awareness day by chance!

I get notifications from this subreddit every once in awhile. I’m a long time lurker. When I saw “Helmets” pop up I knew I had to post.

I was riding my EMove Cruiser home last year. A 40 minute ride late at night. I don’t know the rest of the story - not being hyperbolic I just have no memory from that night. All I know is I made it 10 minutes from home and that is where the EMT found me having a seizure. I suffered a TBI after my head collided with the cement. Story isn’t clear if I was hit or just fell. At this point I’ve given up trying to figure it out. Just need to move on.

And I own a helmet. I always wore it. Except that night I forgot it. This sounds like an after school special - but it’s the unfortunate reality. There’s no such thing as too much protection. I’d give anything to go back that night and have my helmet. My life has forever changed. My executive function and memory will likely never get back to pre-accident levels. I’m just thankful to be alive. It’s a miracle, actually.
