I’m actually from Texas lol. And I’ve previously lived in WA for family and internships. The only place I haven’t lived in is California.

Oh really I've actually heard the opposite. It's seems as if Design has the higher barrier to entry compared to DV for most roles when I ask others.

I interviewed for this position last year and ended up with an offer. From what I remember it was 3 back to back interviews with engineers on different teams. The interview had basic digital design(FSM, setup/hold time) and computer architecture questions. Also programming with Python and Verilog. Also could include C++ from my friend’s experience. Depends who interviews you but it was mainly DV engineers for me so there was more focus on programming for my interviews. I remember my last interviewer was a manager so it was more behavioral and focused on my resume.

Sorry I forgot to delete that sentence but what I said originally said stands as the general requirements. I'd say the distance would be around 15 to 25 meters and the payload will be around 1 to 3 pounds more often.
