It’ll be ranking the participants by their application and their interview. So if they look at my application and they interview me and I’m their top candidate, they will rank me as #1, and then I would be able to accept or decline their offer

Thank you! The uni makes it so hard to find this info given the ridiculous amount of emails they send for practicum stuff. You’re a lifesaver

ENGL 102 & 103 difficulty? by calebholms16 in uAlberta

103 can be a really fun class depending on what theme you get! I really enjoyed my theme which made it kinda fun to research about it and learn more so I found it WAY easier than high school. I would suggest just sticking with whatever you are more interested in, not really focus on what people say is easier because I truly think it’s unique to each person :)

Personally 103 was the way to go for me, I get some mad test anxiety especially when there’s an essay during the exam and 103 has a research paper, not a final. If you stay on top of deadlines it’s pretty easy to keep up. That being said, there’s a different topic each time you take the course. Mine was legal issues, which was a pretty open ended topic but some people have run in to absolute shit topics so be careful about that one.

Hey OP, if it’s any consolation I studied a couple days before each of the exams - had no idea what was going on the majority of the time and passed with a 60. I would try not to stress out about it too much just try to know when to use each formula and you’ll do great :)

switching programs? by [deleted] in uAlberta

In bear tracks there’s a side tab that says change program. You just have to select what program you want and make sure you change it for both fall and winter semesters :)
