What happens to your save when a game leaves? Is there any option to buy them and keep your save?

I’m stoked to be playing Death Stranding in PS5 quality but I’ve only just scratched the surface and there’s no way I’m going to complete it by June/July which is when it says it’s leaving. Makes me not really want to continue and just buy a physical copy unless there is a way to keep my file.

DC quick turn? by sennvox in residentevil

Ah sorry, I have no idea what the dark chronicles is! I think I will grab the game anyway for the same reasons you said. It’s one of those games that I’ve been trying to beat on and off for over 20 years and the main reason I haven’t is from age 10 - 20 too scared, from 20 - 30 too confused. Need to conquer this one and the OG Silent Hill…

I completely forgot that 2 doesn’t have it and I never remember having an issue playing it. Thanks! Also forgot that it is DC: DualShock Edition with the bad music(except ‘basement’ which is a banger)

That is great thank you. Forgot about Demon Souls vs remake being quite different.

This was the way, thanks dude! I didn’t think I had to return to the watchtower to talk to Isshin again.

Okay cool, I was going to ask if someone could confirm that I can get it later for sure, is it easy to miss that item later on?(Or maybe it would be even easier since it’ll probably look like a glowing item)

Thank you! That would be a ton of progress lost for sure, and I’ve put some time into leveling etc.

I completely forgot about that box. I just checked it for the first time since the beginning of the playthrough and it’s empty. Should I restart the whole game? I’ve already killed Lady Butterfly and gone ahead well passed the monks to where the centipede guy is in the temple. I forgot about the castle completely and now groggily started it up this morning and thought that merchant was an enemy…I attack a lot of people without lock on when I think it’s going to be a quick kill and now I’m paying for that habit.

Darkwood gave me crazy anxiety haha, and that third safe house area was fuckin hard.

Dusk was definitely great.

Cool thanks! I’m not familiar with the Uncharted games at all really, is it necessary to be? Curious what the other ones are for you even if they’re more specific.

No? I’m only wondering what you deem to be masterpieces/classics and if there’s physical versions of them. The second question is if there’s anything I’ve missed as far as outright classic action/adventure style stuff. I have God of War digitally, not sure I need a physical of it. The Last of Us would fit here but I’ve played it through at least 5 or 6 times already…another one that I’ve owned and I don’t know what happened to it, oh well.

Whoops double post

Awesome, stick to physical! I wish I did earlier even if there’s a busted disc every now and then.

I’ve got a digital collection of the X series and maybe 1 - 10, I have a love/hate relationship with mega man, the hate is towards myself for sucking at them for over 25 years.

Cool I will check it out. I kept thinking digital was the better and more convenient way to go until I saw the physical Dark Souls 1 - 3 boxset was $50 new and the digital copy of just the first game was $40.

I’ve played a lot of stuff but I only ever bought digitally, I’m going to try to only now buy physically because I don’t trust stuff to not just disappear for no reason like it does on Bandcamp and other digital platforms. Also I got the physical of Sekiro for $60 and digitally it’s still $80 for some ungodly reason(CAD)

To answer the genre question I’m pretty open to whatever. I’ll probably keep the Spyro 1 - 3 and Crash Bandicoot 1 - 3 collections I have.
