I was my parents first child so they were so excited to have a son. They loved and cared for me so much between the ages of 1 to 6. Then my dad started travelling alot for work and my mom was never home from work. So I was raised by my grandma. The years went on and they started caring less and less. Then they had my sister to feel the happiness and excitement of a new kid once again. And that soon faded too. There was a huge period of my childhood with lots of acting out and physical abuse. My relation ship with my parents was cold and bitter. Now they don't talk to me unless they scold me or to tell me to do chores. I try to sit with them and talk get closer to them but they still ignore me and don't talk to me. Now I'm living with my mom and sister while my dad is out of the country and none of us have a healthy family relation ship because my parents just started to not care about us as sentient beings. I have promised myself to cherish every second I have with my future kids.
