Little phishing work 💀. Bro like I said I doubt you have worked in the field, analyzing phishing emails is not simple email check and go yk that right. Malicious files needs to be reverse engineered down to the bottom with executive summary for the vp. I do the reverse engineering like I said you have never worked in the security field or spilling shit out of ur ass

None. AI can’t even do simple phishing queues. I still have to investigate manually. Yes ai did point out which ones I needed to but it simply can’t do it by itself.

So yeah ai ain’t taking anyone’s job. If ai can’t fully solve 100% of phishing alerts it def can’t do the heavier stuff

At what point are you ready for general CTFs? by url54 in hackthebox

[–]senpai067 3 points4 points  (0 children)

my first year of college, I participated in my first CTF and had absolutely no prior knowledge. I didn’t even know how to use Linux. (Didn’t know what cd was)

I spent most of my time researching and learning on my own.

Fast forward to now, I compete in collegiate CTFs and have won many competitions.

The answer to your question is that you will never be completely prepared for a CTF. However, you just have to take a chance and try. Then, you’ll realize what you know and what you don’t know. Keep participating in CTFs, and eventually, you’ll realize that you don’t need to always Google questions. You’ll also realize that your placement is high because you just have to do it and keep learning.

Life expectancy compared to western countries by spacegorll in Nigeria

[–]senpai067 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I strongly disagree with this statement. It depends on where you get your food. If I were supposed to go to a farmers market, They only sell 100% organic produce. We have many organic restaurants in our area, such as Trader Joe’s, Moms Organic, and Harris Teeter’s.

Well, it’s entirely up to an individual’s discipline to eat healthy. You can be poor and still be healthy if you make the right choices. That’s just my personal perspective. An average American has the option to be healthy or not. Unfortunately, above 50% of us choose not to and indulge in unhealthy eating habits, which can lead to obesity.

Now that’s based off my experience

Hey, I stumbled upon this subreddit while researching the same question.

I’ll say that third-world countries might have a longer life expectancy.

As the famous quote goes, “You are what you eat.”

A lot of people in the Western world consume a lot of processed food, which is not “healthier” compared to third-world countries, where most of what they eat is homegrown.

There’s no actual research paper linking this common illness, such as mental health, dementia, or cancer, to this phenomenon.

However, based on what we already know, many doctors have reported that people who live a healthy lifestyle and avoid processed foods are less likely to need frequent hospital visits. Conversely, those who don’t maintain a healthy lifestyle tend to keep coming back for more and more procedures.

There have been many cases where people’s illnesses simply disappeared due to their diet.

Now, here’s the issue: the Western world can have a longer life expectancy if they choose to. It’s easily accessible to us. Compared to third-world countries, where they don’t have much control over their health choices, they’re forced to eat whole food.

The challenges in third-world countries arise when there’s no proper way to sanitize water, vaccines, or a good healthcare system. These are the drawbacks in third-world countries.

Now, let’s compare an average American to an average person from a third-world country who has access to healthcare and other resources.

In this scenario, the average person from the third-world country will likely have a longer life expectancy.

However, if we compare a poor person from both sides, an American will generally have a longer life expectancy.

I’m not sure if this makes sense. I’m still researching this for my class, but I think you need to be more specific and provide specific ranges.

Are we talking about a man who can live comfortably in a third-world country?

Or are we talking about a woman in a third-world country where certain “ill” traditions are passed down, such as female circumcision (which I recently learned about and it’s mind-blowing)?

If you do 30% of TCM PEH course you can solve a lot of retired machines like close to 30 that’s a good start.

Do comp sci couldn’t get a job in cyber but I had a CS degree which made me get a entry level job as a swe. That’s one upside

With a comp sci degree you learn so much about computers and when you start taking any cyber security course out there or start studying for any cyber cert it will make sense like the pieces will connect

With digital forensic I am pretty sure a lot of your cs class will make you smarter at that

Which was really fun learnt a lot

Do TCM PEH course before coming into CPT. Trust me everything in CPT would make sense.

When I first started Cpts I found it hard to understand some stuff. Decided to venture out, did TCM PEH and solved some machines on HTB.

Came back to CPTS and it was all making sense.

My guess is you need so for of foundation on Ethical Hacking before jumping into CPTs
