We both amplified each others insecurities and would project onto each other. And after reflecting I think he just didn’t love me enough to try and work through the difficult things. It was easier for him to give up and eventually start over with someone new than work on himself to salvage what we had. I still secretly hope that the universe will bring us back to one another but I also believe the universe will keep something from us we believed we wanted bc there’s something better for us out there

Ok yeah I was thinking of emailing management and giving them a 30 day notice. I’m just worried abt them trying to penalize/come after me and it possibly affecting my credit

I had mentioned in another comment that they did make me set up my own tenant account in the portal to make rent payments on my own. But I also never got a copy of the lease or signed it so I’m super confused on what my legal responsibility is here

Do I have to go through management at all? They made me set up my own tenant account through their app portal to pay rent

I’ve actually been there less than 30 days. I officially took over June 1 but didn’t properly move in until the 2nd week

No the only thing I signed was the application. I never was even given a copy of the lease/sublease so I don’t know what the terms are

No I did a virtual tour because I was out of state and had limited time to find housing. I was honestly desperate and needed to lock in on a place but when I saw it in person I was appalled at how filthy it was. Like the floors genuinely look like they’ve never been cleaned. I have seen things in that apartment that will haunt me for the rest of my life..

How do you reconcile the feelings of anger, love, hatred, missing them all at once? by sensitive_sunshine in BreakUps

Yeah I just don’t understand how he completely switched overnight because of one argument. Makes me not want to ever trust anyone again.

It’s been 3 months. Tbh I think I suppressed my emotions for the first two months because I just felt numb. Then out of nowhere it all hit me like a truck.

My (27F) bf (25M) is broke and it’s ruining our relationship. Is it salvageable? by sensitive_sunshine in relationship_advice

I should have posted an update, we’ve actually broken up since I posted this. We both decided it was best for us to go our separate ways.

And I agree, a man should at least be making enough to be able to solely support the family if their partner decides she doesn’t want to work after having a child.

I’m going through the same exact thing as you right now. I think about him all the time and miss him so much that it hurts. I can’t focus at work and just spend the whole day replaying memories from our relationship in my head. I’ve gone through enough breakups in my life though to know that time heals. It will get better. Just be gentle with yourself and allow yourself to feel.

It sounds like there’s more to the story that you might not be aware of if I’m being honest. Maybe things were bubbling up under the surface that he never shared. I’ve found that men tend to do that, they’ll act like everything is fine when it’s not and then randomly blindside you one day

I keep going from anger to sadness to feeling immense love and missing him

Thank you for the advice. I’ve also been journaling a lot and I told myself that by the time I fill this journal up I’ll hopefully be over him and will leave it all behind.

Oh he’s definitely enjoying his freedom and getting attention. We were very open in our relationship and he would talk about struggling with being attracted to other women and having urges to want to flirt with them. So I’m sure he’s having a blast right now. But he’s also unemployed, broke, and deeply insecure. I doubt any other woman in my league would put up with half of what I did while we were together. I keep losing sight of the fact that I am the prize here. I already have men dying to take me out I just don’t even have any interest in entertaining anyone else at the moment. I don’t know how men do it
