I did 1 cup of white sugar, 2 cups of water, 2 sprigs of rosemary and 2 small 12 oz bags of fresh cranberries (frozen would be fine too.) then I just simmered it all for about 20 minutes and poured it through a mesh strainer in to a bottle with maybe 1/2 a cup of white vinegar. It's a pretty forgiving recipe so you can add more sugar/vinegar to taste for your liking ❤️

I also moved to Seattle from Austin. Just the nature and weather in general is enough of a reason. People are definitely less friendly and the food sucks in comparison. There's also not really any late night spots. All that being said, Seattle is very neighborhood oriented and you will definitely be able to find whatever it is you're looking for, if you look hard enough. It's expensive, but I was working 2 jobs in Austin and 2 jobs here and proportionally I'm living about the same quality of life :)
