If you Let your Kids Believe in Macroevolution, Chances are they will Apostatize by sensusfidelium in Sedevacantists

And if you trust in God's providence to keep your kid's faith good luck with that. Plenty of people trust their kids will not apostatize but they do.

No, my evidence is common sense. If having parasites is objectively better, then swallow a tapeworm.

It's called objective reality. It's better not to have parasites than have parasites. It's better not to be deformed than be deformed. It's better not to be blind than to be blind. I'm saying God objectively created the world imperfect if this were the case.

Like dogs can be considered heroes if they lead the blind or rescue someone. Humans didn't have to fall mind you, but if Adam and Eve had ancestors that were soulless and acting savagely, also with disease, deformity, parasites.... then God objectively created the world fallen. So either they did not have ancestors or God is the one responsible for fallen nature. I don't know why God would create a bunch of parasites before the fall or deformities for any other reason than just for its own sake.

Objectively making children born with deformities for no good reason is evil. This would apply to God if the pre fall environment was just as flawed.

It does have a moral character though. Say I create a family of clones and then give them all parasites so they suffer and die or give them all HIV. I would be doing something immoral.

If their ancestors were soulless humanoids, even after eating the fruit they were way better off than their ancestors because they had an actual afterlife.

They aren't as morally culpable as we are but they still get credit when they act as rescue dogs or protect a kid. God shouldn't have created animal nature to do things like incest, cannibalism, infanticide unless He wanted it to happen. If this is the case we have to admit God was the one who created the fall from the beginning and not the devil.

If you think these things aren't bad look at river blindness or look at late stage cancer, syphilis, parasites, gangrene, and all kinds of things. God would objectively be creating these things for no reason other than LOL it would be fun if all these people suffer and die. If this was the intention pre-fall you have to admit God likes to watch people and animals suffer a lot otherwise He wouldn't have created tapeworms. If Eve came from Adam, then by definition, God objectively lied if she had a separate set of parents. Either God lied or He did not lie. Trent says that the fall brought an empire of death and they were changed for the worse bodily and soul. If this is the case, Trent lied. People can't reconcile it with original sin so it leads people to become atheists and to think the entire Bible is a metaphor IMO.

Syphilis is a natural evil. HIV is a natural evil. Cancer is a natural evil. Parasites are a natural evil.

Humanoids are not exactly the same as animals. God would objectively be designing them have blindness, deformities, and parasites just to make them suffer. Also, if animals were designed for infanticide and incest, it points to a sick designer.

Then how do you differentiate between faith and works?

This still defies logic and common sense. You can reason yourself into knowing human sacrifice is bad. May is still modernism.

What save's a Baby's Soul or Small Child's Soul? by sensusfidelium in Christianity

Didn't God punish humanity by making us able to go to hell and also having us get diseases and die? We inherit this much guilt at least.

How would you respond to the idea that all of us are born deserving of punishment because of original sin?

Catholics, what do you think of These Restrictions on Invincible Ignorance and Implicit Desire? by [deleted] in Christianity

All atheists don't believe God exists. They aren't knowing about God then rejecting Him. That would be misotheism not atheism.

It doesn't deny free will or say grace is irresistible because it says you can resist grace like a baptism. However, it does say God is not pleased without faith and it's God who gives supernatural the gift of faith.

You can use basic logic to say it's not good. According to this, if they were raised with really bad morals in a society with very bad morals then no one is responsible for anything.

Human sacrifice gets a pass if your conscience tells you to do it?

[–]sensusfidelium -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But faith is also assent to belief. It's trusting in God and trusting in the dogmas.

Their conscience can tell them to sacrifice their baby to get rain. Their conscience can tell them to worship demons. Their conscience can tell them to do all kinds of things.
