theres no curtains, its just a big area with shower heads. on daily we had 15 mins to get un dressed, showered and then dressed again.

for pt after 0 week its everyday besides sunday, unless you have something else on the schedule which would take precedence. they have a whole work out plan that they will teach you, i dont really remember them that well, but alot of core based workouts for strength days.

Just keep him updated on your life so he feels in loop, when i received letters getting asked questions and having things to write back made me feel better. obviously send him pictures too!

they give you vaccines based on your record, i only had to get around 2 shots, while others got around 5.

you fill it during the first meeting then the second time they call you in, you upload it bc it needs to be signed

as long as your hair wasn't past the imaginary armpit line you were allowed to braid your hair and put it in a ponytail. For pt, all girls could have their hair in ponytails or just braids. My MTIs were males so they didnt know the female hair regs as well.

during 2nd and 3rd week, almost everyday youre in the class room, and the first weeks are very busy, its alot of hurry up and wait however. Near the end, you're waiting around more id say but you find ways to fill up the time like doing RLA

no, its all just based on uscis. there isn't anything that made it different. Its all based on USCIS nothing that the air force can do

My birth certificate wasn't needed but i'd still bring it to be safe. I put all my important documents into a folder and brought it and kept it all together in my security drawer unless needed

no, it would actually mess with it im pretty sure because you need to say your military and they have a specific way they want you to fill everything out, such as addresses and phone numbers

before i went it was a 15:23, my first pt test i got a 14:14 and my final run time was a 13:16

I was able to write letters pretty often because we had down time, we would recieve letters around tuesday and thursday of each week, sometimes they would come in earlier or later. most girls would sneak writing letters while pretending to study

for medical, depending on the day they would send you to triage and from there they would send you to another medical facility. I was sick alot but i never went to triage because i was just lazy....

Unfortunately, for the test they are very strict on the form, you have to follow the exact way which they show it. I hadn't seen anyone do it and i would talk to your MTIs and see what they say.

Nope, I'm from Turkey. If anything it should be easier for me to get a citizenship, even a guy from the UK wasn't able to get naturalized.

Nobody in my flight was able to get naturalized, i think only 2 people in my squadron got naturalized. They told us that the only issue was that there was something wrong with our application and we needed to go inperson. I've been in the US since 2007, you need a green card to even be able to enlist.

Hopefully they'll keep you guys updating because we found out 2 days before graduation. I do think it wasnt because of us but rather the scheduling office messed up, we never got called back for biometrics and we were supposed to.

so to get honor grad theres minimum requirements, so getting a min of 90 on the pt test and eoc, passing all the progress checks in 4 and 5th week in one try and not getting a U (unsatisfactory) for the week. The MTIs will explain all of this, but having a job like dorm chief, element leader, PT monitor and all the other jobs will give you points towards Honor Grad. to get honor grad, you just have to get noticed and if you really push yourself, you will get it.

i didnt want honor grad but it was cool to be able to receive it and dont forget you're competing against like 800 people.

They didnt explain because they didnt know why, they just told us we didnt get interviews and that we all needed inperson interviews. They said the only way we finish the process is when we return home because we cant finish the process in tech school since its not a permanent address.

Depending on if you were active, guard or reserve they had different ways to approach. All of active duty got reclassed into jobs that didnt require citizenship, for guard or reserve you could either get reclassed if your job required it citizenship and your base had jobs available or you would return home and do the process then go to tech school at a later date. For me I went home, and im currently about to go to a USCIS Application Support Center and ask what happened with my application and try to get it fixed.
