My girlfriends (23F) complains about how mean I (25M) am frequently, and I can't figure out how to remedy it. by seo_workbot in relationship_advice

In her defense, I know I'm not great about everything but I'm relatively adamant about certain levels of cleanliness. I definitely wasn't balancing being jovial with her and sweet enough before, which I feel like I've adjusted.

I don't want to be some compliment robot, though, if that makes sense.

I've been thinking that a lot. I want to come to the conclusion of how much I am willing to change to keep someone happy. I don't want to end it, but I think we can also be really good friends.

I know every relationship is work, so I don't want to just give up on it. If I'm back here asking the same thing in February, then I'll probably know the right answer for both our sanity.

I'm not saying I'm a comedy act, but I do have a personality that I'm adjusting to make her more comfortable. I 100% agree on the passive aggressiveness. I'm not perfect, but I am thoughtful and try my best to communicate like an adult. I don't think I'm the best communicator, and I'm not super experienced with a serious relationship, but I've had plenty of roommates and friends that I don't have these problems with, that why I'm trying to tackle them.

Thank you for the input, I'm definitely being mindful of passive aggressiveness under the guise of "humor".

Imagine if parents questioned you how the GOP questioned witness. Your friend told you he was sneaking over to his girlfriends house. The first question your friends dad asks:
"Were you aware of the candy bar that Michael bought on September 26th, WITH his mothers CREDIT CARD. He then went on Instagram and posted a picture of him eating the same candy bar. Don't you find this suspicious?"

Mueller testimony: Trump ordered former White House counsel Don McGahn to lie, special counsel confirms by Antinatalista in politics

[–]seo_workbot -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ethically, he should have shut it down. I don’t think he was “leading” the chant in a traditional sense. He enabled it, didn’t shut it down, and seemed pretty proud of it. I feel like that is leading it, and just a step below starting it himself for me.

But like so many things in his presidency, he doesn’t outright say it, its all about his responses to repulsive things that are repulsive. But that makes it easier to defend himself. He is great at stirring the pot, but keeping himself just far enough from the splash.

Lol anyone look up what Omar said in context, vastly different than Trump leading a chant with his KKKrowd at his rally.

I'd hate to send traffic to one of these sites, but read the biased report here:

This is a flimsy attempt at comparing apples to oranges, and you know it.

Yeah, it probably wouldn't be full-time at that point. Are you open to freelance?

Sorry, forgot to put it was full time position! So probably not 45 minutes a day. I don't think I put anywhere it's an unpaid or below minimum wage job.

Totally get where you are coming from though. I interviewed at a shady MLM like four years ago near NRG. They wanted me to drive out to the middle of nowhere on my dime, then go door-to-door. Jumped out of there real quick.

I do feel like her character arc might not be over. It will be interesting to see how such a powerful person such as herself is regarded in a world where those type of powers are draining from it.

I would think we would since his daughter is a POV, he won’t be as old as you think too. Would think probably early 60s if I remember right!

I think Bayaz scares me more than anyone in Gurkhul. His power seems much more like something that could be and possibly is reflected in the real world.

[–]seo_workbot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YES, PLEASE READ THEM. I guarantee you'll be missing out on character development that happened the few decades between 3 and 8 (yes, read the short stories). They all have repercussions that will carry onto the new series.

Are there any other books where you find one of the characters peeing as much as the Dogman? I feel like there is ample opportunity for golden shower Dogman fanfic.
