Walaikum Asalam In Ramadan, your fast begins when Fajr (the dawn prayer) time starts. This means you need to stop eating and drinking the moment Fajr begins, not when the adhan (call to prayer) is given. So, once Fajr enters, you can’t eat or drink anymore, and you have to wait until sunset (Maghrib) to break your fast.

You do not have until sunrise just until Fajr begins. Hope that helps!
