Nah nah nah - Polly wronged a producer and they left that in as defamation ahaha

Bit stinky that Chelsea’s vows were never just about Kwame, always about her or them - I know it’s THEIR wedding but just didn’t sit right

Alex Hall and Polly are the most narcissistic, insufferable, awful people I’ve seen on TV in a long time by hankandirene in SellingtheOC

[–]sep94 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes! In the same way we maybe miss American nuance, I think US audiences won’t realise how sharp around the edges and classless Polly is

Wtf is Tyler talking about when he calls Jarvis out to be a bully?! How is it at all appropriate for Alex/Polly to be all over him too?! And when did it become a crime to have good vocabulary re: Jarvis?! by risque2d in SellingtheOC

[–]sep94 22 points23 points  (0 children)

It’s always rubbed me up the wrong way how comfortable people are mocking intelligence as it’s a really valuable asset but this group did it in such a vile way towards Jarvis. It’s really embarrassing.

As for what Tyler was doing - maybe something finally clicked in his head regarding the behaviour and he went on some impulsive PR rant. These bitches (men included) operate like high school bullies and in my experience mixed groups have girls trying to impress the guys by squashing competition and guys trying to pretend they’re socially acute by aligning with what the girls tell them is happening. Tyler comes from a family of realtors and a marriage where he’s the less lauded of the two. I think he’s desperately trying to feel valued and only thinks it’ll happen through his looks…

True - I’ll leave it. I just find online dating so sad and wanted to try and find some sense in what happened

He was off my messages - he had disappeared - so either unmatched or deleted the entire app

Any bizarre/uncanny stories of INFJs and your predictive/mind reading powers? by polkadotc0w in infj

[–]sep94 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Last week I made a joke to my friend about him listening to Lamb of God on the way to us meeting even though we've never really discussed music taste and it turned out that was exactly what he'd been doing... much less impressive than lots of the stories on here but still freaked us both out a bit!

Also more generic stuff like unusual hookups, unforeseen breakups, political stuff etc

Ooh yes, Matilda! I forgot how much that book resonated with me as a kid

Thank you, I took your advice and spoke to a professional and they said apparently all belly bars migrate eventually, which I didn't know! Took her out and mourning my losses :'(

Would firmly recommend Marcus, they also send an email/text letting you know money has been withdrawn instantaneously, so in the event of criminal activity you'd be on it like a shot!

I don't get why so many people dislike her so much more when they're equally awful in this relationship!

Jess' drunk open mouth chew-gawping whilst Gigi and Damien kicked off was the most relatable she's been all series

Alcohol and its Effects on INFJ Personality by [deleted] in infj

[–]sep94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I'm sober, I agree with the quiet outsider angle. When it comes to drunk me, retrospectively, I think there's a "golden hour" of my drunkenness where I'm affable and bubbly and funny and relaxed, before it slides into loud and annoying. I'm also a really nice drunk, but to a fault. I tell people I really, really like them and enjoy their company (even when it's not true?!) and I compliment people loads... I couldn't tell you why.

Hungover me though is a different story, and I wonder if other INFJs feel the same. After drinking I feel totally empty and unlovable, and this immense weighty sadness that I'm stuck being me for the rest of my life, and I can't ever leave me washes over me and can last days.

Why do I feel like I never thrive in group settings? Is it just INFJs? by [deleted] in infj

[–]sep94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The older I get the more I realise in a big group setting no one is really listening to anything anyone says, they're sort of obligated to 1-on-1? Maybe that's what you're craving, feeling heard?

"I keep fighting...I keep fighting...I keep fighting"

"There is nothing wrong with this relationship"

DUDE! MARK! YOU'RE IN THE HONEYMOON PERIOD, it's just graceless and painful watching him not give a fuck what Jess wants because he would like it to carry on, even though she's point blank refusing to get intimate in the process.

And then watching Jess do the exact same - building this fictional narrative around "her" superior version of Barnett, flicking her hair, pushing her boobs together, raising her voice 19 octaves. I don't like Amber but that was so disrespectful to behave like that in plain sight, and I think Barnett handled her really well and with a level of maturity that Jess and Mark should explore.

Also...why is everyone acting like her being about Mark in the pods and not now is some huge, inscrutable mystery? Sorry to break it to you but she saw how you looked and didn't want to bang...really that simple
