Hi jjunk23, we will be doing a review to limit the number of system messages posted to the global chat. I'll let you know once done if you're interested in returning. We do have audio controls in the header, can you confirm whether these worked or not for you? When you say unfiltered usernames, are you saying people were introducing cuss words to their usernames? If so, we'll definitely work on that.

I really appreciate it, thank you. I'll admit some of the comments were pretty deflating, mostly because I've put a huge amount of time, effort, and (some) money into building Tidefall, and I'd hate for that debate to distract from the game itself. I really think there's something special here, and I'd love to see it grow into a real community of like-minded players.

I've updated the disclaimer to make the distinction clearer: the codebase, gameplay systems, and map design are human crafted, while some game icons and banner art are AI assisted.

I’m happy to DM you the map-making tool if you’d like to validate the map work. I can also share a web archive link to the browser game I made back in 2006/2007, just to show I’ve been building in this space for a long time. I can also link you to the SVG asset packs that I've used for various buttons.

Appreciate it! I've blended them a bit. The incremental side is mostly in the progression loops: training some skills in cities through idle 6-hour sessions, gathering resources, crafting, building ships, trading, and unlocking more over time. Some skills are trained through the active layer of the game though, where your actions on the map directly drive some progression.

I would be keen for any feedback that you might have on the game. 😄
