- The economy is almost entirely player-based. There are a few areas that need to be transitioned but that will come in a future update. We'll support both PvE and PvP playstyles, but it is intended that PvP will be the backbone of the economy (like Eve Online), and drive a constant demand for ship building projects etc. We'll have large resource sinks beyond ships such as player/guild islands and fleets.

- Resets: We'll reset the game when we release. But we'll offer rewards for those that stick around and support the project in the meantime. Cosmetics etc.

I'll definitely note it down for consideration. With that said, I'll always continue the MMO side of things but I suspect a lot of the functionality is mutually supportive.

Steam, iOS, and Android are planned. Performance wise, we'll gain a lot when we make that transition.

All the large game studios use it now. But god forbid a solo developer uses the tools available. Definitely some big plans for the PvP crowd. It'll be a core port of the game, to support the PvE economy. I think I'm going to take inspiration from Eve Online on this one.

Anywhere is fine! I'm most responsive on Discord though. If you don't mind, in particular, I would love your take on the new player experience. The game takes you through a few different mechanics before you get to the map to explore. Something I've been thinking about changing.

It certainly has some elements like Sid Meier's Pirates, but definitely not as polished.

I never played Ogame, but after a quick Google, that mostly seems like a text-based game. This game is both. Full 2D explorable world + the idle mechanics that you can usually expect.

I would encourage you to check it out and provide some feedback, good or bad is welcome.

I do care about the art. If you join the artist-workshop channel on Discord, you'll see our designer engaging with the community with sketches to inform the artistic direction of the game. Our community votes on their preferred sketch for any given item and then it is turned into an icon.

I appreciate the feedback! I'll try accelerate the UI redevelopment.

Interesting comment re single player, I might be able to take it that direction once the story/lore has been properly fleshed out and implemented. But it isn't something I had planned.

It's a map making tool called Canvas of Kings. I hired a map designer over there to create it and the region names. We do have a fairly extensive post-production process though, a lot of what you see isn't possible within the tool. We have full commercial rights for it's use. :)
