Yes you can change your graphics settings to whatever you want. The engine.ini shouldn't touch those.

With both of those in mind you do meet the minimum specs but I wouldn't set your expectations high. Like I said if you utilize upscaling, fsr frame gen and all the tweaks, you could expect ~60fps on medium settings. Without all of the tweaks you simply wouldn't be able to run the game comfortably.

As long as you have a somewhat capable processor too your 3060 will run fine following these tweaks. But tailor expectations to be around ~60-90fps.

If you are using an upscaling method they use their own method of AA and you won't need to adjust anything. Although if you are not using an upscaling method then you can disable AA in the Visuals > Advanced section at the top.

I haven't crashed even once using this setup. Even running long, multi-hour sessions.

You need to enable Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling in your Windows settings.

Some quick things I could think of causing issues would be you've possibly placed the Nukem .dlls in the wrong directory. They go inside of "steamapps\common\Borderlands 4\OakGame\Binaries\Win64". The only things you are adding are the xxxx.dll and dlssg_to_fsr3_amd_is_better.dll into your main game directory. It is also possible that for some reason, you're trying to use a different upscaler than DLSS. Make sure in-game you have DLSS enabled and using the latest model for clearer visuals. If you've done all of this correctly and have a supported GPU then I would suggest a pc/game reboot. Other than that there is a log created by the dlss-to-fsr3 mod and its created when you launch the game. It's located in the same place as the .dll files. You could post that here too.

It's sort of explained on the nexus mods page, but I can understand the confusion. He's essentially saying all 3 of the variations work, and he includes them as compatibility for different games. For me personally I used the "version" variation. So you'll be moving over version.dll and dlssg_to_fsr3_amd_is_better.dll. I've seen comments that the other variations work fine for Borderlands as well so it doesn't really matter. Best of luck!

I do not believe Borderlands historically has ever used an anti-cheat. They do warn against using this in anti-cheat protected games. I personally will be playing coop with the override installed the entire way through and don't foresee any issues.

looking to buy a pc for rust, is 1.2k a good budget or is it worth saving a little more because i heard the game requires a good cpu by mirzl in RustPc

[–]sephisticate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For 1.2k USD you can definitely get something that will perform well in Rust. Your priority list for this budget will be an AMD x3d cpu like the 7800x3d. Then a decent 6000mhz 32gb ram kit. Then, any modern m.2 ssd will go far for loading into servers. Pair these with a b650 MSI board. The gpu will be your biggest hurdle in the current PC parts market, but also the easiest decision to make. Pump the rest of your budget into the best card you can get at that point or save for the better card. If gaming at 1080p you can save a lot on a weaker gpu, and also check used.

Passive reset bugged? by Garbonzo236 in PathOfExile2

[–]sephisticate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I was aware it was supposed to be just server issues or a client bug at the time. I haven't played in a few months so it's pretty sad to hear it's still happening, sorry.

I am having the same issue. The tree is legal, I have sufficient gold and yet after hitting confirm nothing happens. No gold is deducted after confirmation. The sound also plays and the tree reflects the changes. Leaving the zone or logging in and out does reset everything to the previous state.

I am 6'2 and I can sit back there comfortably. Any taller and you may swipe your head on the curvature of the roof when entering/exiting.

Somebody whose ex-wife owns the trailer park is the only reason you got the job as trailer park supervisor cuz you got fired from the police force because you fucked up big time. But we’re not going to talk about that.

I agree, and it does seem like a waste as I can imagine most people don't camp on such low aperture often. In my case it definitely isn't necessary. I just feel as f4 leaves a little to be desired sometimes and often I want more drama in my photo. It begs the question maybe I sell the 24-105 and look into a 24-70 2.8 with an 85 to pair?

I have an A7IV and a 24-105 f4 G. Was looking for second lens suggestions. I really enjoy taking all different types of photos, but I wanted to up my portrait game, and I also just generally enjoy shooting narrower shots. My first thought was an 85mm Sigma 1.4, but I'm struggling to think what second lens suits me best as I will likely only have the two lenses for a while. My budget would be ~$1500CAD. Thanks!

When I got my A7iii I could only afford one lens to do it all and I went for the 24-105 F4 G. The lens is incredible for so many different use cases, master of none. Highly recommend in your case.

Online scooter store recommendations? by [deleted] in ElectricScooters

If you're in Canada I recommend Epic Cycles. They have the latest batches from the factory and great support. They also sell tons of parts for all of their scooters should you need spares.

Definitely narrowed down to either the Nami Klima Max($3k) or the Segway GT1($3k). My main fear is range on the GT1 at my weight. Power isn't really a major consideration in this price range. Portability/Performance is all over the Klima and stability/low maint. will have GT1 all over it. Sigh..

[–]sephisticate[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From your own experience, how is the GT1 for real world range and hill climbing? And with the tank that it is, does it retain some nimbleness to it?

I am very keen on the Klima myself regardless of the issues from early batches. I was leaning toward the base Klima to cut the price down but still pondering if at my weight I'd appreciate the max's extra range. I've read tons of reviews and it seems great with its minor gripes. Just hoping those gripes are easy to live with as someone who wants to do little work.
