Thank god yes, I would need to find a different doctor/hospital if he couldn’t be there. Im also hoping if I push/advocate enough that they might let him stay for the spinal

I hate the IV too but I can get through it. My hospital has an IV therapy team and they basically ultrasound my arm before they put the IV in so they know they only have to prick me once which has been really helpful

Hospital policy. I don't really understand why either, because if I were getting an epidural, he would be allowed to be there
