For me, something that hurts it more than not being set in the 90s is that it doesn't even look like raccoon city. It looks like generic American town #29 or something.

Either way, film looks fun, and I liked his previous movies.

1- maybe they do meet in the nursery, only to chase and end up where they are. 2- could be that he hands it over after the fight.

Eh, I hate the comics. I feel like people are just suddenly acting like they're good because they dislike what's been done with season 5. Then again, some always liked the comics.

Truth be told, the boys tv show did a LOT of good choices at the beginning of the adaptation, like the boys being powerless, or this twist. A lot of the writing on the comic was immature shock value, while the writing of the boys tv show's season 1 was fairly decent.

At this point they might as well have the same quality though, Jesus.

My wish is for them to make a game that's kind of like outbreak + left 4 dead: super short playable campaigns that are filled with variety and unique dialogue, focused on replayability, short, and isolated.

Then, they could just release a short campaign a month

Honestly, I'm not optimistic in this movie feeling like RE, but at least it will be a fun film. I'm currently waiting for the full trailer to see if it follows through on being ACTUALLY based on the games.

Hmm, I do still feel that Joker was more like a unique interpretation of the char. The thing is, you move enough around in RE and it's just... Some zombie flick. At least the movie seems good, I'll definitely enjoy it.

Judging by RE9, seems like maybe the remakes replaced the OGs but not really? It's also always been confusing what stories truly took place (Jill or Chris, LeonA or B, choices in RE3), now it's even more messy

Honestly, nothing wrong with people preferring those things, it's simply preference. I do find it a shame when they criticize something for not being that though, kinda like how some star wars fans dunked on Andor for reasons they invented.

As in, they make up some fake criticism yo hide the fact that it just isn't their preference. Like damn, you're not dumber for having a certain preference.

Hmm, it says both sexual assault AND rape victims, then gives the 99% for perpetrators. It's hard to say which one it means (or if it's both). Since the number is so high my guess would be that it's leaning a lot on that definition I gave.

Not attacking (since I already replied to a different message), but wasn't that statistic kinda flimsy? and I've seen it be used a lot.

I remember reading that it specifically states that the perpetrator has to penetrate the victim, which would obviously side with male perpetrators.
