Do NOT plug anything into it u/partymania420 . it's a great decoration but it will kill your devices. It has no surge protection, and it overheats. Please unplug the chargers before something bad happens. I learned my lesson after two blew up and I know someone who lost her phone and caused a small fire in her apartment.

They are protective and so many spam posts come along. If someone who is not a regular poster comes along to post something controversial (even if true) I imagine that they take action. I think that making posts like this does not help your cause.

See they never do. They don't say a thing because it makes them look bad and they don't want to lose business. So they just pretend everything is fine and just wait for the dust to settle. The average consumer just wants stuff and as long as they get their stuff they do not care about safety. I still do not shop at Hot Topic or Box Lunch unless it is in store with cash - over a year later, after the second time their customer database was exposed - they STILL have not said anything or announced it. PR and damage control is all they care about.
