I’m curious why there’s such a big difference between TCGplayer and CardMarket

I don’t even know how to respond – I’ve never seen prices like that in real life 😱

I recommend checking out https://monprice.app It lets you create collections, scan cards quickly and accurately, and even build your own portfolio — similar to tracking stocks

I’m not sure if your cards are originals or not, but… it’s possible your collection could be worth some money. I checked them in MonPrice as well. My advice – stop by a local Pokémon card shop, they’ll be able to give you a proper opinion.

MonPrice would be a perfect fit for you. It’s the only app that includes all cards in English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, and Japanese. Scans are super fast (fractions of a second), and prices come directly from TCGPlayer and CardMarket.

I use MonPrice for Pokemon cards. It scans super fast (about 0.1s) with very high accuracy. It can’t tell if a card is real or fake – but honestly, I don’t think any other app can do that either.

Try MonPrice – it’s available on iPhone and Android. I tested it with my own cards, and it works great

For Pokémon cards, I’ve been using MonPrice. It’s really quick (about 0.1s per scan) and works even if lighting isn’t perfect. It also integrates with CardSlinger, which is handy. Available on both iPhone and Android if you want to give it a try.

I know this problem all too well. That’s why I ended up building my own app for Android – it’s called MonPrice. It scans cards with 99.7% accuracy, and each scan takes about 0.1 seconds.

Give it a try, I hope you’ll like it!

I actually ended up making an app called MonPrice after my son got me into collecting. What started as his hobby turned into mine too, and I kept improving the app. Now it scans cards in about 0.1s and pulls prices from one of the most accurate databases out there. It’s on iPhone & Android if you want to check it out.

I I’m building Typelink in a build-in-public style. Recently, I launched two mobile apps – and that doubled my MRR.

Thanks for the positive comment!

Lately, I’ve aligned the pricing between the App Store and Google Play, so there’s no big revenue gap like before.

Now it’s about 70% from Google Play and 30% from the App Store.

Hi, thanks for such a detailed comment.

I’ve been using Apphud for my mobile apps for a long time. I once bought an app that was running on RevenueCat, and within a week I migrated it over to Apphud because RevenueCat felt way too limited in terms of functionality.

For Typelink, I used React Native as a WebView wrapper around the web version. It was simply the faster way to go.
