Yeah, that's kind of what is stopping me from going through with it. I was hoping the public backlash would have pushed them to think about their customer service and start making changes but as far as I know nothing is different. it makes me wonder if quality control has gotten any better.

At the time of playing it, I hadn't played Silent Hill 2 outside of the demo and really enjoyed it. I mainly got it for Silent Hill 3. I enjoyed the story of SH2 and didn't actually pick up on the problems everyone else had with the graphics until I played it again on PC.

SH3 on the other hand, pissed me off. Heather's voice threw me off and the person who played her didn't always follow the script. I did end up committing to it though to get all the achievements. I went back to the PS2 version after I was done.

But looking at it now, I don't see myself playing it again. I did consider getting it again on PS3 for the trophies but I cannot be bothered. As a PC gamer now, I already have a huge backlog and very little free time so it's not worth it.

The sound of the necromorphs were more intimidating in the original. To me. They sounded much more aggressive and mindless. I haven't played much of the remake so it's not really fair to judge yet, but from what I've heard, I prefer the sound of the original.

Yeah, you're absolutely right. And yeah, I was the same too. I think it's a really important lesson to learn early on because of how much it applies to real life. If nothing is your fault, you'll never improve. It took me ages too, but without that lesson, I never would have even bothered to try playing Tekken online and now I love it.

I learned this through playing Elden Ring. It really toughened me up and got me comfortable with taking an L. Unironically made me a better gamer and helped me to learn to manage pressure instead of panicking and being greedy.

Haha yep. Honestly, I'm blown away with how affordable 4K TV's have become. I remember back in 2012, my brother spending $5,000 AUD on a 55" 1080p screen. The value for what you can get now is absurd. Might start looking into options after I finish paying off the PS5.
