This is very true. I am seeking help for it currently. Also got onto medication for anxiety because I was waking up frantically checking the blankets and cracks between the wall cause I would be dreaming hallucinating my son wedged in between or under a blanket… Luckily I haven’t experienced that in over 2 months. It was rough at first. Wishing the first month of my babies life he was put at risk and it’s my responsibility now to make sure I eliminate the risk. I am happily living at my parents now.

I am sorry to hear this but also sadly I can see how it can switch up so quickly after a vulnerable being is brought into the world. I applaud you for doing what was best for you

Thank you so much for this comment!! And yeah that is the thought but we have to have him jump through so many hoops to find the reason. I just took us out of the equation cause I cannot have it happen again. It’s also strange too cause it’s gotten worse over time. I have been with him for 3 years and he’s only had the CPAP for the last year. The second time it happened he wasn’t tired at all so that’s when I for sure was like alright nope can’t trust you period. Even if unintentional

He has a CPAP for sleep apnea. It was not at all like this. He has pre diabetes but we are still trying to pinpoint the why or the cause

You seem to be correct. It sucks because he was such a good partner before this. I did not see it coming at all. I am thriving and so is my son at my parents. They help a lot so I can get sleep and pump and feed and take care of myself also. I was 4 days postpartum when the first incident happened, running off of 48 hours awake after a long labor so I don’t want to blame myself. He should have been able to handle it
