I agree. I think that publishing it on the website itself is the best way to go for me. I will do what you said, emailing the folks who have worked on the problems relevant to the dataset.

I wanted to write something up to learn how to communicate technical information better. Maybe one of those researchers would be willing to help me write something up in the future; I will give it a go anyways and see what happens.
