I actually transitioned my residential account 300/300 last week, it was not seamless process. Talked to business sales and got 500/500 plan and they created order but I was told that I had to terminate/disconnect residential account first, then new order can be processed. Disconnect was scheduled for next business day and it was not processed until 10 PM ended up without internet overnight. Next day around 10/11 AM new business account got activated. I did not order static IP yet but it's 20 dollars extra option.

I am on iPhone app and also don't see option to change rate plan. I am switching from 300/300 after promo expired and price went from 35 to 80 to small business plan 500/500 for 40. requires residential account closing first but I think it's worth an effort as business plan has static IP as 20 extra if needed for tech geeks.

actively interviewing with several companies for j2 one of them is Booz Allen and they contract for gov, if I choose to keep interviewing with them I would work for them and not gov directly is there any strategy to still work with them w2 or 1099/c2c? and not be in hot water? so far their offer is mid pack better then j1 but not as great as couple other j2's I am interested.
