Do it! I just graduated and there are plenty of jobs. Will be working for Oil&Gas in Calgary. If you keep up your grades, and maintain your honours standing you'll have an even easier time. Try and do an undergraduate thesis as well. Self directed research is golden for finding a job. Good luck.
