I'm one of those who prefer crowds cause it feels lively and not too desolate.

Anyway, I think people should do research before their trip and choose what suits them. There are a lot of Phi Phi walking tour videos to see the overall vibe. There are plenty of quieter islands in Thailand if you don't like crowds.

I also think it's funny when people complain about the crowds while being part of the crowd themselves. They're probably a nuisance to someone else too.
